Chapter 15

"So why is it called the Stag Sea?" Tiny asked. "There once were many Sea Stags that lived in these waters, but now few are left. Legends say that if you're lucky enough to see one the sea will bless you." Iris replied. "Ooh really?! I wanna see a Sea Stag!!" Tiny said with an excited bounce. "Most who have heard the legend do as well." Iris said while running Tiny on the head. Azula looked down at the dark water lapping around her feet "So we're flying over this right?" "Yes. We will follow the Stagian Current all the way to Palancar." Iris replied.

"If everyone's ready then I will lead." Iris casually stepped onto the surface of he water and it held her up like she was walking on a sheet of dark glass. We were about to take off when I remembered that Erde didn't have wings. "Erde how are you going to cross the sea?" Erde looked at me and calmly replied "I will fly." I was about to ask him how, but then o saw Erde's cape split in half and turn into a pair of large green wings. My mouth fell open in surprise and it took all I could do to keep my string of questions from spilling out. Finally Briggan was able to voice my thoughts "Whoah!! How did you do that?!" Erde flapped his wings and shrugged "My cape is magical. What, are magical capes new to you or something?" I was about to come up with a smart reply but Iris walked up "Guys if you're done talking, we need to save my brother."

Iris stepped back onto the water "I'm leaving with or without you guys." To keep from being left behind, all of us scrambled to get airborne and followed after Iris. (Who was running on the surface of the water down below us. Which also happens to be the coolest thing I've ever seen!) We were flying in a loose formation and somehow I was the point. I looked over at Erde, he clapped along and kept up like flying was a normal thing to him. Maybe it was, I'm still so confused about the cape to wings thing.
