1 year later*

KELLIN'S POV
I sat on the lunch table, munching on a bag of salt and vinegar chips. I literally can't get enough of them.

I looked at Vic. He was staring back. 'What?' I asked with a small giggle. He laughed slightly and looked down, 'you're so beautiful.' He smirked.

I felt my cheeks heat up. Austin cleared his throat, 'Guys, guess what?' He said.

I looked up at him. 'It's been a year since we left America.' He grinned.

'Oh yeah! How could I forget! It's also the day the love of my life proposed.' I laughed. Vic sniggered and shook his head, popping another chip in his mouth.

Vic and I got married 3 months after we arrived in London. Everyone was very welcoming, we get new people everyday so it's not an unusual thing for us.

We had made a few new friends here. Austin and Alan had made a friend called Kurt, who seems pretty nice .

Mike and Tony got married a week ago as well. Everything seems to be looking up at the moment.

Alex and Jaime have planned a wedding too. Honestly they're so cute together it's unbelievable.

London seems pretty cool too, the city has been walled to keep walkers out, we mainly call them Zombies now really. We called them walkers coz we didn't want to admit they were zombies, but it's been so long since we were out with them that the fear has faded. The memories won't go though.

The people who live here rarely have to go on runs. It's only once every five years or something crazy like that because the city is stashed with so much food.

We have jobs, we go to work everyday like normal people, people have families, there are schools, basically everything we would've had before. Apart from we can't leave. That's the one thing that bothers me. But hopefully we won't be stuck forever.

They're working on a cure, they've got one to stop the virus spreading but not to completely cure them. But they're gunna get one, I know they will.

Vic got a job as a graphic designer, but he's in a band. It's really good actually, I knew he was talented but they sound fantastic. I know their releasing their new album soon, I'm their biggest fan of course. As soon as I heard 'Yeah Boy and Doll Face' I was in love. Maybe one day he'll tour with my band.

'Kells?' A voice snapped me out of my day dream. 'Yeah' I said, looking at Vic.

'You were smirking' he said. 'Oh..' I said smirking again.

He laughed and took my empty chip packet and chucking it in the bin.

'I'm gunna get off to work, Austin and Alan wants me to do his album cover for their band.' He said. I nodded kissing his forehead. I watched him leave before moving to a different table to chat to Andy and Ashley.

'How Ya going?' Ash asked. Andy snickered. Ashley elbowed him in the stomach as response. 'All good, you?' I asked. He nodded, 'all good, how's ya band?' He asked. I smirked, 'it's going well, don't tell Vic but I wrote a song for him.'

Ashley smirked, 'ooh, what's it called?'

'If I'm James dean, You're Audrey Hepburn' I replied. He nodded, 'sounds good.'

We sat there awkwardly nodding.
'Right, better get off to work then.' I said, getting up.

'See ya.'
'See ya.'

I walked out the building and down the streets into the Vinyl shop were I worked.

I flipped the shop sign to open and sat on my chair behind the desk waiting for customers to come in.

My heart skipped as I saw something on the wall.

This wasn't what I thought was it?

'Gabe?' I called. He walked round the corner.

'Did you put this out?' I asked, pointing at the new vinyl. He nodded, 'yeah, it came out today, looks pretty good right?'

'Yeah..' I whispered.

I walked up to the vinyl to make sure it's what I thought it was.

It read 'A flair for the dramatic' with 'Pierce The Veil' written in big letters above it.

I reached for it and opened it up.

'Surprise Kells!' Was printed on the inside cover.

I laughed and hurried it onto the vinyl player excited to hear the other songs that I hadn't heard already.

I sat in my seat and smirked.

Everything was going well,
I hadn't seen a walker in a year,
Life was perfect..
