Chapter 19

VIC'S POV
I fell asleep easily that night with Kellin in my arms. We'd spent the whole day paddling in the sparkling blue lake and exploring the mountains. As much as I wanted to get to London as soon as possible, it was also nice to have a day off from everything, from the world.

I was awoken when Kellin fidgeted next to me and snored lightly in my ear. I smiled slightly to myself. He was so cute.

I stared out the van window and at the stars. I wonder what time it is? I wonder what day it is, or wether it's past my birthday yet. I've never really cared about my birthday. I just wondered if I was a year older than I was when the world turned to shit.

'Vic?' I heard a voice whisper, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I looked around to detect where the voice was coming from. I saw Mike perched on the the edge of his bunk, Tony fast asleep next to him.

'Yeah?' I replied. I could see Mikes faint smile in the moon light.
'Why are you still awake?' He asked. I shrugged. 'I haven't been awake for long, why are you?'

He shrugged too,' I guess I'm hungry.' I nodded,' same...'

We stared at each other for a while.
'Vic, im scared.' He whispered, breaking the silence.

I sighed. It was weird hearing him say that. For years he was the one protecting me and looking after me. But at the end of the day, he's my younger brother. I have to be there for him.

I got out my bunk and sat next to him, resting my head on his shoulder.

'We'll be okay.' I whispered. Mike sniffed.

'Okay?' I asked.
'Okay.' He whispered back

I slowly got up and wiped a tear from his face with my thumb. He smiled faintly and me. 'Thanks..'

I smiled back, 'any time bro.' I whispered.

Before climbing back into my bunk and drifting back to sleep....

KELLIN'S POV
I smiled at vic's sleeping face. I'm pretty sure I heard him get up last night but I was too tired to do anything.

I slowly climbed over vic and out of the bunk, not wanting to wake him.
'Kells?'
Obviously didn't do my job very well..
'Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you.' I said. He looked up at me and smiled. 'It's fine.' He said. I returned the smile and placed a small kiss on his forehead.

Gabe had just started getting up. 'Time to hit the road guys!' He said.
I laughed slightly. 'You literally just woke up.' He shrugged. 'Nothing better than an early start, avoid traffic.'

I rolled my eyes. 'Yep, sure.. there's gunna be loads of traffic Gabe.'

He laughed slightly and walked down the isle to the drivers seat.

'You're gunna kill us all!' I yelled down the isle.

'Never mind, you can't sue me!' He called back. I smirked and rolled my eyes.

We learnt ages ago to accept that things wouldn't be normal for ages or.. ever, so now we just make jokes about it.
I mean, what's the point In dwelling over the past when you can start a new future?

The engine roared to life, making Alex shoot up in his bunk.

'What's Going on!' He yelled.
I laughed slightly at his shock.
'We're leaving dumb-ass.' I said, still sniggering to myself.
He frowned then rolled his eyes and got up, poking Jaime in the face.
'Hime, wakey wakey!' He cooed in his eye.
'Himmmeee.' He whispered. Jaime still snored on.
'Just leave him, he's happy sleeping obviously.' Vic laughed. Alex pouted and flopped himself on the floor next to Tay.

I heard a giggling sound from the top bunk.
I frowned.
Ash and andy slept up there. I hoisted my self up to see the top bunk. And sure enough, Ash was sat there giggling as Andy planted kisses over him.

How can someone with a voice as deep as Ashley's have a giggle like that?
Kinda cute though.

Suddenly, the van screeched to a stop.
I ran to the front to see what was going on.
'What is it?!' I asked Gabe.
'I-I.....' he started.
'What?!' Tay asked from no where.

'I know where we are!' Gabe yelled.

I know this chapters really bad and short and all dat but it's been a long week and I'm completely shattered to be honest😂
