Guns & Breakfast

*Hiccup*
Oh no this isn't good.
"You mean.. The whole cabin? With us in it?.." Merida whispered.
Rapunzel nodded.
" What now?" Jack whisper shouted.
I desperately searched my mind for any answers but it was blank. "I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU UNTIL THE COUNT OF THREE TO GET ALL OF YOUR ASSES OUT HERE BEFORE WE SET THIS WHOLE CABIN ON FIRE!!"
We all shared worried glances.
"1...."
Merida got in a running position. "2....."
Jack cocked his gun.
"3!!!!!"
Jack, Merida and Rapunzel sprinted out.
I followed after. As soon as Jack was outside I heard four shots.
Adrenaline started pumping through out my body.
Jack and Merida fired back. Rapunzel just tired to cover herself behind trees and figure out how to shoot. I went to a tree in front of her.
" don't worry about it crouch down!" I shouted at her.
She looked at me with shocked eyes before nodding and obeying.
Suddenly pain shot up my arm.  I looked down and saw the blood  that was beginning to gush from it. The bullet  didnt make it in. The bullet just scraped against my arm. I looked at the men that were threatening us. There were 7. Some hid behind trees others were hiding in the bushes, but not that well. I grabbed my rifle from my back and started to take down the ones in the bushes. One by one we started to take them down. I could tell they weren't experienced with guns. Thank God or else they would've taken us down. We needed three more when one of them started sprinting toward us with a bottle at hand.
Jack noticed what the bottle was before I did.
Jack shot his gun and the man threw the bottle through the window of the cabin before dropping dead. The cabin blew up in flames from the inside.
*Rapunzel*
I couldn't believe what was happening. Men were shooting at us and now the cabin was on fire. Merida and Jack kept trying to get the two men left cowarding behind the trees. Hiccup started at the cabin in disbelief.
Oh God!! The supplies!!  I remembered  the bags of food, water and weapons still stored. I looked at Hiccup and he looked at me after that I took off into the cabin.
" Punze stop!" Hiccup shouted but I kept going. I heard two shots and I knew they were directed at me.
Inside the cabin was already bursting in flames. Smoke filled my lungs and my eyes started to tear up.
Ok ok... Focus... Food.. Water.. Weapons... I ran toward the small room we all shared and scooped up all the bags we had gotten. It was difficult to move now. My lungs screamed or air and I could no longer see anything. My eyes stung. My breath was low. I could barley move and my body was above normal temperature, but I kept moving. I got to the weapons next.
I put down one of the bags and tried stuffing guns into it. I felt I hand on my shoulder and froze . The person then kneeled beside me. Hiccup!! Thank God.! He started to grab all the weapons he could. Later a mob of curly red and platinum white haired friends appeared and helped us out. He rushed out of the cabin,hands full with supplies and as soon as we got outside we stood behind the trees and put the supplies down. We all watched silently as the cabin burned down. Our only safe place we knew was burning to the ground. The bodies of the seven men laid scatter around. I couldn't help but feel guilty. I felt completely useless because I couldn't help in the whole situation. I closed my eyes and learned against a tree praying for all of us. I was sure we could use all miracles.
*Merida*
I was so devastated. Now we'd have to make it out there...With the creepers roaming around. What would happen when we run out of food?. And winter will be here soon. We need to find a stable place. Tears were threatening to fall. I quickly blinked my eyes a few times and the tears were gone.
I let out a sigh.
Then I heard groaning.
Oh fuck. I turned around.
I could see creepers appearing from behind the tree.
Shit.
I pulled Hiccup up. Jack and punze followed. We crept away and stayed low. They hadn't seen us yet. Jack led the way avoiding twigs and possible noise making things. We followed his steps. I looked back at the cabin and to my surprise those creepers walked right into it ignoring the flames. I guess the gun shots really alerted them. I'm guessing sound is their cue to finding their food source. We crept along for some while then, when we thought we were far enough,we stood up and tried to come up with a plan.
"Where to now?" I asked.
It took a while for someone to answer.
" I guess we'll bust in and out of houses.. For the meantime," jack responded.
" What if we trespass?. I mean there could be property we can't get into. Someone could be hiding in there and out of no where we show. They threaten us.. Try to kill us. What then? " Hiccup asked.
" Then we shoot them," I replied.
" You have a point Hic, but I mean come on those things.. There are a lot which means a lot of people are no longer.. Alive. I say the chances of finding taken property is pretty slim." Punze remarked.
I nodded at her. She smiled at me.
We walked for a long time. I don't know how long it was, but the sun started to set.
We started to climb the trees in order to keep us safe if we fell asleep.
The sun went down and the cool breeze blew against my freckled face. Everyone was asleep but me. I watched as the small outlines of flying birds flew across the sky. Their shadows zoomed past us. They'd make good breakfast. I reached a branch beside me and pushed down on it. It bent downward. It was flexible. Perfect! I grabbed my pocket knife and cut the thick branch off the tree trunk. I held the beach in my hand and slowly started to carve it. It took a when but I finally got it the way I wanted it.  Now I just need some string. I looked down at my feet and noticed my shoelaces  that'll have to do. I took off a shoe lace from my shoe and tied to end end making sure the branch curved and that the lace was tight. I smiled to myself. I spent the rest of the night carving arrows and carving small designs into them. By the  time the sun started painting the sky with its pastel colors ,I had a good amount. I shook Hiccup awake.
He groaned then rubbed his eyes. He looked at me then gave me one of his stupid grins. I smiled back.
"Wanna hunt?" I asked.
"You don't have to ask twice"
We climbed down the tree.
Hiccup handed me a bag to put my arrows in.
"It'll do for now" he told me.
I nodded.
We started to walk away from the tree and into the bushes. We walked farther and father away from our two friends.
Jack*
I woke up. The sun hit my eyes. I looked of my right and saw Rapunzel fast asleep I smiled. I looked past her and saw that Merida and Hiccup were gone. In their place was a carving.

Breakfast.

I smirked and looked at Punze.
I grabbed a gun and shook her awake.
"Good morning," she said before even opening her eyes.
" good morning princess" I replied.
She smiled and looked at me. "Where are Hic and merri? "
"Breakfast"
"Ahh.."
" look while they're gone how about some shooting practice"
Punzie looked at me with her head tilted before she nodded. We dropped the bags full of supplies to the ground then we started to climb down.
I started to explain the basics. I showed her how to hold a gun and how to aim. Then I showed her the safety and how to reload. She caught up quickly. Then we started to shoot. I grabbed an empty tea can we had all drank yesterday and placed it a good distance away from us.
"Ok... Now hold it like this..." I said while adjusting her again. " now aim.. And shoot.."
She pulled the trigger and let out a squeal when she heard the blast. She didn't hit her target and frowned.
"Hey it's ok.. Get in position"
She obeyed and aimed.
"Ok now... A little higher" she moved her gun up a little and then shot. She missed again.
"Ok again.. But a little more to the right.. Focus on your target and don't hold your breath. Exhale when you pull the trigger" she nodded before she held up the gun and shot one more time. This time she hit it.
She smirked at me.
" dang. Well by this pace you'll be better than all of us in no time" I joked.
" Oh I already am better than you!" She said laughing.
" oh sure you are!" I laughed 
"So..what? You want a little snack? I'm starving." Punze said while opening a bag.
" Yes! I am also"
She pulled out a pack of cheese crackers. We shared the  4 in the pack. We really wanted every little food we had to last.
We sat in silence. Then out  no where.Merida and Hiccup sprinted out from behind the bushes.
" We heard gun shots. What happened?" Merida asked.
"Don't worry guys. Punze got the bad guy." I replied.
Punzie started to snicker and I smirked.
I pointed to the can and Merida and Hiccup smiled. 
" it's good that you showing her" Merida said looking at me.
" yeah but we'll have to teach her more. We need her to be able to have good aim and shoot faster before anyone shoots at her or tries to eat her." I replied.  We all nodded. "Where's breakfast?"
Merida and Hiccup looked at each other.
" The gun shots scared them off.."
Punze immediately looked down blushing.
I grabbed crackers out of the bag and handed it to them. They ate quietly.
"Sooo.... Where to next?"
