I watched as Merida and Peter sprinted away from me.
I had no idea if I was going to make it out of this alive and I didn't know if they would either. I knew everyone had ran off except Belle and Adam. I didn't even see them after the crash.
All I could do was hope everyone was okay as I pounded and stabbed rotten heads.
More and more still gathered around me. I needed to get out of here. I looked around desperately in order to make a plan.
Looking around I noticed that I could probably jump from this truck to our car. If I happened to slip, I'd have a seconds to get up and run. Immediately I climbed to the roof of the truck and just jumped. I felt as if i was flying, that is until my foot came in contact with the hood of the car, slipped and ended up hitting my head on the hood before finally reaching the ground.
I sat up quickly and rubbed my head as I began to limp away.
My eyes darted from place to place until they landed on a car.
The door was wide open but a walker was sitting on the driver's seat buckled up. I limped fast. As soon as I got to the car, I stabbed the walker and pulled it out . I got in and closed the door just in time for a walker to slam against it. Holy crap.
I felt for the keys in the keyhole. They were there.
I started the car and stepped on the gas. Walkers and dead bodies were fed to my wheels. I was devastated. We lost everything in a matter of minutes. I had no idea what happened to Shang or Mufasa or Belle or Adam. As I drove past the knocked down wall in the front of the town, everything died down. I could still hear some screaming, but it was fainting by the second.
The night sky faded back to black and the silver stars shined brightly above my moving car. Shadows of tall trees dashed across me.
I gripped the steering wheel tightly. Tears started to prickle at the corners of my eyes as I slowly took everything that just happened in.
I stepped on the accelerater . I needed to find Hic,Meri and Punze.
....
It took a while, but I finally got to the river.
Nobody was there.
I started to panick.
Where they here and left me?
Did they make it out alive ?
Did something happen to them if they got here ?
I didn't realize I was holding my breath until I actually started to breath again. I ran my fingers through my longish hair.
Maybe they just hadn't gotten here yet. I started to gather small twigs and lit a fire. I glanced toward the direction of the town hoping that a set of curls, Burnett hair or golden waves would show up.
I sat there waiting, and waiting and waiting .... and waiting.
Nobody came.
