Chapter 7: Busy

I look in the mirror as the maids help me into my blue, off-the-shoulder dress. It's a little slimming but it's better then wearing a huge ball gown. Then I put my hair up in multi-part ponytail with curls at the bottom and front. Then my crown is placed lightly on my head. Then they do my makeup which I really don't want... Then once I'm done I wait outside the ball room for my name to be called.

"Now introducing Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum". I hear Peppermint call from the other side of the door.

I walk in and I see a ton of guests. How many did Peppermint invite? I walk around as people greet me and all of a sudden I'm greeted by a tall fancily dressed man.

"Why hello my dear Princess". He says bowing. I can tell he's not a candy person so I guess he must be one of the princes.

"Good evening. I hope your travels weren't to far".

"No, not that long. But I do wish to know... What did you think of my letter"?

"Your letter"? I ask nervously and I remember I never even opened them. "I don't think it arrived. I don't even know who you are or what kingdom you are from".

"I come from the Dessert Kingdom. My name is Dessert Prince".

I nod and I instantly feel something slimy go down my arm. I turn to see Slime Prince and I growl... "Hello Princess. Haven't seen you in years".

"Yes I know... It's been forever". I say wiping the slime off my arm.

I growl as I see Box Prince and when he tries to touch me I back away bumping into Wildberry Prince. They all surround me and I feel so overwhelmed I just push past them and run out into the gardens. I find a bench and just sit there. I look at the stars trying to clear my head. When I feel a hand touch my shoulder I turn to see Jake and Finn right behind him.

"Hay. You guys made it". I say giving a small smile.

"Yah of corse. Did you even see us in there"? Finn comments.

"Of corse she didn't man! Did you see all the princes crowding her". Jake kinda growls. "I'm sorry this had to happen P.B".

"It's not your fault... It's not like I can just stay out here earthier. I have to go back in sometime". I say huffing.

I get up and go back in and the princes back off a bit... Then I see a prince that I haven't noticed before. Is he the fifth?
