Chapter 25: Changes

(PB's POV)

I look back at the flame kingdom as I finish the argument with Marcy. I don't mean to be cruel like that but she has to understand its more than just her.

"You alright PB?" I turn to see Jake giving me a worried look.

"I'm fine... Just go back home. Let me know if Peppermint does anything stupid or different." I say looking in the direction of my kingdom.

They nod and run off. I walk to the flame kingdom and I'm instantly greeted by flame princess.She walks me to my room with no fire and I thank her.

"It's no problem. Is Marcy coming?" She asks looking in the hallway.

"No. I thought if we were in the same place it would be easier to find us, so i told her to go hide with her father."

"He's alright with it?"

I nod and she leaves me to be alone for the night. I don't sleep at all, its not like i really can either. I'm worried about my kingdom, Marcy, and how the blob I'm going to find supporters without being known? I sigh and look out the window to see Dexter running to the gates. He is let in and I stand at the stairs waiting for him.

"What do you want? Isn't is dangerous for you to come here like this?" I ask looking at him.

"well I thought you needed a different look." He holds out a pair of scissors and I grab my hair. "Oh come on Bonnibel... It's for Marcy".

"Don't use that against me and two not above the higher part of my neck... shoulders only."

He nods and he cuts my hair and changes the color without my say. "It only lasts for about a week calm down, now get in the bath."

"What?" I give him a glare and he laughs.

"I mean I'm putting formula in so it will change your skin color, making it a little lighter than Finn's."

I sigh and push him out. as I'm about to pour in the formula I look at it. I can tell what he put in it and it all looks ok. When I'm actually starting to relax I look at my skin to see it changing. I smell my skin to no longer get the smell of bubble gum. When i do get out I see a pair of my pj's on the counter. I put them on and go to my room to see flame and Dexter.

"Wow that stuff really worked? I wasn't expecting it to." He says a little shocked.

"It changed your hair to!" Flame says.

I run to the mirror and see that its no loner bubblegum. I glare at Dexter. "One question.... Did that turn me human?" I yell poking his chest.

"Well I knew you wouldn't go with it so-."

"Alright then.... Look head out I'm going to bed."

He leaves and Flame smiles. "Well goodnight PB."

"See you tomorrow."

She walks out and I fiddle with my new hair. It's dark brown with a bit of pink hints. After a few hours I lay down and get about two hours of sleep because I'm waken up by Flame.

"Lets go get supporters." She says and smiles with an existed expression.
