Chapter 24: Bickering.

(Marcy's pov)

I open my eyes to see myself being moved. Is it to Bonni's castle to finally be executed? I feel heat all around me and my eyes widen and look to see Finn and Jake kinda dragging me along. I look at the sky and the surroundings and I was way off. The fire kingdom.

My stomach growls from the lack if red I have gotten. I hiss at Finn and Jake and they look down at me then look back up. If I change can I stop myself from killing them and just knock then out?

I huff and close my eyes. And when I open them in standing above them. I look around, fire is red right? I smile and hold my head down catching a small flame on my tooth. Then the whole area goes black from no fire. I feel my body grow and I look at Finn and Jake. My head foggy and unclear.

My hand snatches Finn when he goes to swing his sword at me. I throw him making him hit the ground hard, he just lays there and then Jake comes at me growing me size. I just swat him away making him slide.

"Marceline!"

I turn and see my father. Great. He is in his true form. I growl and we clash soon I'm on the ground and he is staring down at me. Everything happens fast, Finn and Jake tackle my father and rips of the necklace of the nightosphere. He changes back to normal and stands up shaking his head. He walks over to me and bends down.

"Marceline we have to get to Bonnibel quickly."

"Okay but what do we do about flame princess."

"Marceline Abadeer! Get up and let Finn and Jake worry about that! Let's go!"

I stand up and rush off. "You guys got flame princess and her father?"

"Yep, go girl." Jake says growing big picking Finn up.

I turn around ready to run but I collide with someone. I hit the ground and then jump up ready to fight. Then I notice the pink hair. And the familiar face of Bonnibel.

"B-Bonni?"

"Ow hay-! Mar..." She looks at the ground and then gets up.

"I-I........"I look down as just feel tears but they stop when I realize. We aren't safe. "Bonni we have to go... We have to run."

"That's exactly what I'm doing... Where are you guys going?" She asks looking to Finn

"To stall the flame kingdom." Finn says looking down at Jake.

"Guys get going!" My father yells and Finn and Jake stand there. Then he looks at me. "Let's go..."

I just on instinct grab PB's hand. "Come on..."

She kinda stops and just looks at me. "Marcline... I don't think I want to leave just yet... I'll get refuge in the flame kingdom but I'm not running from this."

"But Bonni!" My face gives a confused look.

"I can't let peppermint take my kingdom with a wave of his hand! If I have supporters I can win against him... I'm at least going to try Marceline ". She steps back and looks to Finn. "Get her hidden. Then send me a letter. Will you come back to be one of the supporters?"

"What if something happens!?" I yell my ace turning red.

"Then it happens Marcline. I think Finn and Jake can protect me as well. But you need to be hidden." She kinda growls at me and continues to talk to Finn and Jake.

"Bonnibel! What if they can't!? I- you know what nevermind.... Dad let's get going." I turn around and start to float with my dad.

"Marcy can't you trust me?"

I turn around my fangs showing. "I do trust you! I just don't want anything to happen to you... You think I want to go hide and not be there to fight with you! We are together right?! Right!?" I yell my fangs even more prominent. I give her no time to speak and continue. "Then I am not going anywhere! Understand! I will be right beside you! Helping!"

"Please don't argue...". She says somewhat motherlike.

"Argue! I'm not arguing I am stating I'm not leaving!"

"I'm just try to protect you Marcy. So instead of us both being in trouble it's just one of us."

"Protect me!? Really! Well it is your kingdom right! Geuss I have to listen! So have it your way!" I storm off and fly fast through the woods of Ooo. My father gets infront of me. Leading me to to the dessert kingdom. I just follow my father hoping Bonnibel will be okay.
