Chapter 27: False Hope...

(PB's POV)

I jump as I see a screen pop out in front of me then I see Marcy putting on Simon's crown. I growl and walk to the cave entrance to see him with LSP. 

"You gave her the crown?! Simon!" I yell grabbing him.

"Trust her Bonnibel!" He yells back pushing me out of his way. 

I just stand there until my frozen figure is touched by LSP. I look at her and give a small smile. 

"So that's you Bubblegum? Nice new look!" She gives a nod and my attention goes back to Marcy. When I see Peppermint I growl and grab Finn and Jake.  

"Wait.. PB you cant be seen." Jake says as we are running out. 

"I don't care, I'm going." I say not looking at him, more like at the floor. As we run outside I think of the tunnels and look back. "Why didn't we just use the tunnels?"

I look at Finn and Jake's faces and they look hypnotized... Blob... I start running but Jake grabs me and my vision is instantly blurred. 

~MISSION FAILED, TRIAL CANCELED, DEATH... almost certain~

I close my eyes as I see Marcy's head dislocated from her body... Tears stream down my face and right as they are about to put the ax to my neck I hear Peppermint's voice.

"Silly Bonnie... You actually thought I wouldn't let you suffer?" He laughs and I feel someone picking me up. I look to see the guards from before, who helped me.

"We should have never let you out..."

"To late, guess it didn't matter if you escaped or not, either way... Death came to your vampire."

Next time I open my eyes I see familiar walls, the cell. Why put me in here again? My mind instantly goes to Marcy. Where is she? Did she kill Peppermint like I hoped? 

I see the two same guards in the other cell across from me, along with Dexter. My eyes widen and he looks at me.

"Good to see you awake. Are you- Never mind." He gives me a worried look and I just sigh... "What? Is that defeat?" 

"No... Its kinda just false hope. I don't know Dexter... Would it have been best if I just married you from the start?" I ask looking at my chained hands. 

"Probably... But you would have been unhappy. You fought for her PB. That's kinda what you still have to do right?" 

"I know I do but now I don't have connection... I have no idea where she is." 

"Well...." He goes to speak but stops. 

I don't answer and I see Peppermint at the door. 

"Time for you to suffer Princess". He says signaling the guards to get me out.
