Chapter 22: Control?

(Marcy's pov)

I sit in the house feeling bad that I have kinda avoided PB. And talking to her like it was the last time I was going to see her was wrong. I huff and go up to my room. I change into my day wear so I don't get burned. My father can wait, I am going to go make things right with Bonnie.

I fly over the forest and then get close to the gates. Something feels off. I get to the gate and walk through. I hear people yelling and hollering.

"Throw her in the dungeons." And "never let her out again!, peppermint you should be our leader!"

I growl at the yelling of his name I go to sneak around to see better and I feel my arms snatched. When I turn to see whom, it's Jake and finn.

"What's going on?!" I yell whisper. They look at me and wave me to follow them. Getting to the back of an alley but a visual of what's going on. I see the banana guards hold PB. And peppermint laughing. Then they drag PB off. All I want to do is chase after them but them I hear like a chong. I feel my eyes droop and I hit the ground. I turn my head and see Jake with a frying pan.

"Marceline! Help me!"

"Bonniebel! I'm coming! Please jus-"

Peppermint appears and stands above me laughing and then his foot comes down like a heavy weight of greed. I scream and wake up with a throbbing headache. I look around as notice this is Finn and Jake's house. When I look down I'm tied up. I then look up and see Finn and Jake standing there like statues.

"Guys what the blob frack with you?!"

Finn doesn't answer and Jake is just staring at me with this freaked up glazed look. I huff and then hear chuckling. I look in a corner and see peppermint. I am so ready for him to go to the after life.

"What?!" I yell at him.

"The town hates you and you are to be hanged tomorrow. And along with the princess. But for reasons we are keeping you here in safe keeping. And by the way someone also wants to say hello."

I hear a portal door and when I look that way my father steps through. And then I hear someone coming from the kitchen. And I see Simon. Why is peppermint doing this. Wait I know to play with my emotions and heart strings. But how did he get ice king back as simon?

"Marcy you deserve this." I snap my head to my dad and then tear come but stop at my line, not over flowing my eye.

I look to simon and he just looks at me. Then he walks to me an looks into my eyes. "Marcy what happened to you? You have fallen so far down. But maybe if I could re-" he stops and then his whole mood changes and I look to peppermint and I growl. He's controlling people.

"I want you dead you have done nothing but disappoint me Marceline." I look back at simon as his words come out harsh.

"Ya know! Fine have me seen dead! Then peppermint when you he there I will hunt you down and follow you to the end of time!" He looks at me and smiles

"Put her in the basement. Keep her there till tomorrow." He laughs and walks out Jake and Finn pick me up and take me down stairs. They set me down and then they go back up. I hear moving and I turn and see raggedy princess and BMO and ghost princess.

"Guys?"

They go wide eyed as to see that I am not a mindless freak of peppermints a control. They run over and try to help me out of the restraints and then my father is snatching them off and throwing them. I yell at him and he turns to me picking me up and throwing me across the room. I hit a pile of the gold of Finn and jakes and fall into a deep sleep, last thing to be seen is the princess and BMO being taken away.
