Chapter 26: The Crown

(Marcy's pov)

I follow my father, it takes me only a second to realize where we are going. Ice kings. I stop at the door and my dad turns around to look at me.

"Come on Marceline. We don't have time for you to lolly gag." Said my father, with a look of impatience on his face. I sigh and continue to follow him. I look around and see Ice king no where.

"Simon. Marceline is here..." I look to my dad in confusion. I look to a extra room and see a figure stepping out of it. His hair white, his glasses sparkle, but his glare is icy.

"S-s-simon.... I.... How?"

"The crown Marceline.... It can help.... And I want you to-"

"No! You need it to survive, so you don't become old...."

"Marceline I will be fine." Simon says walking to me, his hand lands on my cheek and then his arms wrap around me. In a hug I really needed. But this is no time for a gradual hug, if he is thinking of giving me that crown to use. I won't. Just like him it would send me into a mad crazy mode.

I push away and step back. "So uh.... Do you have any supporter for bubblegum?"

"Yes, I gathered them earlier. Guys come out." He says making a hand gesture. I look to the same room he came out of and here come all these people. Both lemongrab's, all the princesses, cinnamon bun, and..... The lich!

"What is he doing here!"

"Look Marceline, if anyone destroys Bonnibel it will be me. Not her butler... So I am here to help."

"I swear to the nightosphere you do anything stupid Lich I'll kick your ass!" I yell and before I can speak again I see something bright. I look to the door and see guardian angel. Oh great, one of peppermints crew. "I swear, all these damn villains, why are you here angel?"

"To..... Show the support to you and Bonnibel, and to save the candy kingdom. I noticed pepper was acting weird and then all this happened.... I do not approve. So I am ear to help, and nothing more. After all this I will leave, and go back to my danger ways."

I huff and look at Simon and my father. "They have to be taken to flame kingdom with out being seen. And dad you take them."

"Okay but how..."

I look at simon and he speaks up. "The ice tunnels. They lead underground all the way to the flame kingdom. I will show you the way to the entrance but I'm dropping off..."

Simon and everyone head down into the ice tunnels. I sigh and sit on the ice chair. I look at the crown on a table. I stand and walk to it. I poke it with my finger, my eyes go wide at my flash back.

-flashback-

"Simon you promised!"

"I'm sorry Marcy I have too..."

"Simon!"

I scream and hit the floor. I look up looking at the crown. I shake my head and get back up and put both hands on the crown. I feel light headed and then fall to the ground. My eyes close, and when I open them I see melting castle. I stand up and hold my head as melted ice rushes down everywhere. I sigh and look around. 

"Simon? dad? anyon-" i get cut off to screaming. I look off the direction it came from and see Bonni on the ground. The Lich and Peppermint over her, holding her down. Getting ready to kill her. I scream,a tear rolling down my cheek. I fly fast to them tackling peppermint, but he pushes me off quickly. The lichgrabs me and holds me there. Peppermint walks to PB, Grabbing her by the hair he puts the knife at her throat. i scream and close my eyes.

I awake on the floor of the ice castle. I see LSP flaoting over me.

"Oh my glob are you okay?!"

"I-Where's Simon?"

"Simon? Who's si-" I stand up quickly and look to LSP.

"They haven't returned?"

"who?"

"the suppoorters that left to go to the flame kingdom? Have any of them returned?! LSP HAS ANYONE COME BACK?!"

"Marceline, you're like totally flipping a fang. Calm down. I think you hit you-"

"Shut up!" I yell when I sigh i floatoff the groundand into the cave. I get to the cave entrance but get stopped and bumped into. I look to the figure and see simon. Relief covers my body, andi just stand there looking at the ground. I got so hot headed, when i was probably onlyknocked out for a few minutes. But it seemed so real, all of it seemed so real.

"marcy.....you touched the crown didn't you? You weren't suppoue to 'till I returned...."

"I'm sorry Simon..."

"marcy, the crown shows the past and a fake future so if you seen something sad and depressing it's the crown playing tricks okay..."

"simon?"

"yes?"

"What did you see when you touched the crown?"

"I well......I seen Betty and our daughter. The good days.....then the worse when I lost them in the war........"

"And the second time?"

"I seen you marcy......Getting hurt......" Simons eyes flood with tears, i walk to him and hug him. 

"I'm fine simon........Completly fine..." I say, about five minutes later I let go and back up sitting on the floor against the wall. "Simon.....shouldi use it? Would it help......I mean what if i get lost in the power?"

"You won't marcy I have faith in you, and even if you did, Bonnibel, Finn, Jake, and everyone would be there to help you out..."

"What the glob-na-bitt is going on?" LSP says kinda yelling. I just look at her.

"Bonnibel and I are together and-"

"What?!" 

"LSP, wait 'till i am finnished." i say and then continue and explain everything to her.

"So wait.... You and PB are like....... dating?"

I roll my eyes at her incompitance and then look to simon. "I have thought about it, and I will wear the crown, just tell me how I can stop from going crazy......"

"I don't know......"

"What do you mean?!" 

"I'm just not sure."

"Oh glob!" 

simon and I both loo kat her and yell "SHUT UP!" we sigh and then I look away from simon. 

"Simon, lead her to the others. I will stay here.."

"Be safe Marcy..." I nod, him and LSP take off down the tunnel. I sigh and look at the crown, I go over and grab it.

"Marcy marcy......what are you doing?" I snap my head to see peppermint. I dart for the tunnel but he snatches me and slings meby my foot to the other wall. "Where are you going?" I look at him and then remember the transmiter PB gave me. I press it sending her a message and  video of everything going on. I snatch the crown and head out the castle. Peppermint on my heels. I float backwards and put the crown on. The power surgess and everything goes black.
