Chapter 33: marshal lee?

(Pb's POV)

Lola wakes me up with a jolt. I look at her when she's told me that Marshal and Flame prince had Marcy. I'm confued... Is Marshal the alternate of Marcy? I get up running outside smelling something burning and I run seeing a path of ash and flame. I follow it until I find Marcy passed out in an ally way.

"Lola help."

She nods and helps me get Marcy back to the castle. She looks so beaten up when I turn on the lights. I guess she will explain what happened when she wakes up.

"I'm sorry your visit wasn't pleasant."

"Actually I was waiting for something interesting."

I growl. "This isn't interesting, its worrying me. What did Marshal want with Marcy? Who is he in the first place?

I walk Lola home then I head home to find Marcy still passed out and alcohol very strong on her breath. Did he drug her and.... I shake the thought not wanting to believe it but it all of it make sense. After a long night of not sleeping when the sun starts to rise I see Marcy waking up. I just look at her and just try to smile...

"Morning Marcy..."

Her eyes widen for a second and then she curls into a ball. "I'm so sorry princess..."

"Sorry? For what?"

"Suggesting to come...." She says still in a ball. She doesn't move or even look at me.

"Marcy..." I go over to her holding her. "I'm sorry what happened... I shouldn't have left you... It's my fault"

"No..... It's not.... Don't think that. It's mine for getting involved with marshal"

"Was he someone you dated?"

"Yes... I broke up with him evacuee he cheated on me with Fionna... And... Ugh... I'm so sor-" she stops and sniff the air. "Speak of the devil.... Fionna and marshal are here......"

I growl and go down to the front doors. Then I go outside and look at them. "Hello."

"Hey marshal told me Marcy was in town. I wanted to speak with her.... Say sorry for years ago." Fionna says twirling her thumbs. She must be the parallel Finn. I notice a cat beside her looking up at me.

"Meow."

"This is cake. But anyway, so may I see her?"

"Me too. I want to apologize as well...." Marshal says with a smirk looking at me.

"I will ask...." I run upstairs. "They want to see you.... What should I tell them?"

"I... I don't know... I..." Marcy just breaks into tears and curls into a tighter ball. Her face hidden in her knees.

I go back downstairs and go back outside. "You can't. I'm sorry."

"Oh... It's fine... Just tell her for me please." Fionna says giving a small smile of acceptation.

"Why not?" Marshal says looking at me weirdly. "Your the girl she's sleeping with aren't ya?"

"Marshal!"

"What? It's true, and this is the same girl who beat me up that long ago." He says gripping my shoulder.

"Because you were praying on my friend." I say slapping his hand off my shoulder.

"What do you mean by praying! You don't know what mine and Marcy's relationship entailed!"

"Maybe I don't, but the way I found her this morning is probably all due to you." I growl. "Now out."

"What? Me!?"

"What is she talking about marshal?" Fionna asks looking at him with confusion, back to the side of him.

"Yes you! You and flame prince yes?" I say glaring at him.

"No! I wouldn't!"

I growl and grab him by the shirt. "Don't lie!"

"I'm not! And you can't prove it!" Fionna stays quiet while he says all this.

"I'll be right back then..." I go upstairs growling and I get Marcy to look at me. "Was it Marshal who attacked you?"

"I don't know.... I don't remember I.... I think...."She kinda gives a thinking face and then a face of horror. "It was him, he put hi- I can't.... I just know he told FP to drug me"

I nod and go out without another word. Then go downstairs grabbing marshal again. "Marcy said it was you. Explain."

"I didn't do anything! She is lying to get me i trouble now get your hands off me!"

"Leave! Now. Or I will send the guards on you." I watch as they turn away and I go to the living room trying think.
