"Great." You said as the hunk of junk car that your cheapskate father gave you. It was the fifth time this week that the dang thing broke down. Your friend was with you but she fell asleep. "(F/N) wake up. The car broke down I need you to help me push it to the nearest gas station." You told her. "Why can't we just leave the blame thing and set it on fire. We are better off if we do. It's a long walk to Tulsa and I don't really plan on pushing a car the whole way." Your friend groaned getting up. "Your right lets find someone in Tulsa to come back and get the blamed thang." You said grabbing your over the shoulder purse. You and your friend walked for about two hours before you even got into Tulsa. The wall wouldn't have been as long if your friend didn't stop complaining about how hot it was or that her feet hurt. You loved your friend to death but she was a city girl at heart and not the good kind either. She was the kind of city girl that could live without walking outside or even walking at all as long as she could still go to the mall and shop. You had grew up in Tulsa and was used to the heat and lots of walking your friend was more of a soc but you made sure to tell her to tone it down just for the weekend. You were thinking about moving back to Tulsa and you wanted to go check out some houses down there. Your friend agreed to go with you since she might move with you even thought you had no clue how that was gonna work with her being whiny the whole walk. You got to the park and was tired of your friend. "Alright. Sit here. I will be back. Don't talk to anyone in khaki pants or girls that ain't wearing leather. And here take this. You may need it." You said tossing her your extra switch. "What's this for?" She asked. "Protection." You stated before walking away. You walked to the dx. You grew up walking to that station just to get away from your family. You walked in a seen a movie star handsome guy at the counter. "What can I help you with today?" He asked. "I need a pack of smokes. You guys got anyone who can come tow my car into town it broke down just outside of town." You told him. "Yeah I can drive you out there and we can haul it in. Steve can fix it." He said with a smile handing you the cigarettes. "How much do I owe ya for the smokes?" You asked. "I'm not gonna charge a pretty girl like you for smokes. I'm Soda by the way." He said with a smile. "I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you Soda." You said with a smile. "You new in town. I don't think I have seen you around here before." Soda said. "I grew up here till my parents moved us away when I was 10. I'm thinking of moving back here. I brought my friend but I left her back in the park." You said. "Well (Y/N) let me tell Steve that I'm going and I'll take you and go get your car. We can stop and pick up your friend to." Soda said with a smile. "Alright let's go." He said walking out the door after grabbing a set of keys off a hook. He led you to a tow truck. You got in and drove to the park to stop and get your friend. Then went to get you car. It didn't take long to go get the car. When you got back to the dx soda unloaded the truck and let Steve work on it while you walked inside to talk to him. You friend stayed outside to flirt with Steve while he tried to bring your car back to life. "So (Y/N) how long will you be here in Tulsa?" Soda asked. "I'm not gonna go back now. Why?" You asked with a sly smile. "Well I was wondering if you would like to go out with me on Friday night?" Soda asked biting his lip. "Of course I would love to go out with you." You said with a smile.
