This is for MoonwalkerMJ1958 hope you enjoy.

"Pony I'm not sure I believe what you say about Dallas liking me even as a friend let alone something more than that." I told him as we walked to his house to work on the last big project we had before we had before we graduated in a couple weeks. "Why do yo say that?" He asked. "Because he slashed my name like a set of tires today. Then called me out on anything he could think of." I told Pony. "Look I can't control what he does Kenzie, but I know for a fact that he likes you. You two are gonna have to work on getting along anyway since we graduate in a few weeks and you two are gonna have to spend more time together when you get out of school." Pony warned me harshly. "I know that Pone but I just don't see how that's possible." I told him. "Well make it possible. I know your really good at doing the impossible so.." Pony trailed off. If only looks could kill. The look I shot him would have killed him in a millisecond and no one would have known why or how he was killed. "I swear if he is at your house and he says one bad thing to or about me I'm gonna punch him." I told pony. "Do you think that's gonna solve your problems with Dallas or worsen them?" "Well what doesn't kill you what makes you stronger and if Dallas doesn't kill me for punching him then yes it will. That's the only way to deal with someone like Dallas avoiding them or talking to them isn't gonna help or solve anything Pone and you of all people should know that. You gotta be brave enough to smack some sense into him." I told pony as i grabbed a cancer stick from my pocket and lit it up taking a long drag on it. "I'm not so sure that's the way to go Kenzie."Pony warned shaking his head. "Well what direction do you suggest i go in oh wise one?" I retorted. "Well I was thinking a more passive aggressive plan."Pony reasoned. "Go on." "I mean you let me talk to him later. It may not seem like it but he listens and values my opinion." I shot him a glare. "He values your opinion huh?" "You bet." "Do you even remember what he called you the other day. And then that thing that he called you two weeks ago. And the other thing he called this morning. And at lunch?" I asked him. "Well the thing is that he only listens to me when no one else is." "Sure he does. I gotta get to work." I told him turning the corner and walking to the dx to join soda and Steve. "Hey Kenzie how was school?" Soda asked. "Better know that I'm just two weeks away from being out of school for the rest of my life and then I can take on full time shifts with you and Steve!" I told him as he laughed a little and smiled his movie star smile. For about two or three hours it was slow. Maybe three people stopped by for gas. When we had about thirty minutes left on our shifts in walked Dallas. I rolled my eyes at the sight of him. "Angry much?" Dal asked. I crossed my arms. I didn't answer. "Look I came to talk to you." Dallas said. "Well I'm here talk." I retorted. "No walk out here with me." He urged. "I swear Dallas if something or someone is out there to dump something sticky on my I swear imma kill you and whoever helped you." Dallas laughed. "No one is out there. I call a truce." Dallas said.I jumped over the counter and followed him out the door. "So what do you want to talk about?" I asked rudely. "Chill out." Dallas said with a laugh. "Well you haven't exactly been nice to me."  I said crossing my arms.  "That's why i wanna talk to you." "Well talk." I replied. "I'm sorry about everything. I know we are going to graduate in a few weeks and I want a second chance." I cocked and eyebrow. "What do you mean second chance?" I asked. "I mean do you wanna go to the dingo Friday night?" He asked looking at me hopefully. I nodded. "Sure." I replied. "Cool." He said taking a cigarette out and lighting it. "I better get back to work." I told him and he nodded. I walked back inside and took my place behind the counter with soda and steve. "What did he want?" Steve asked. "To be a big dope." I told him. "He asked you out didn't he?" Soda asked. "How did you know?" I asked. "Because I know both of you. Plus you didn't get into a big fight." I rolled my eyes and gave Soda a playful shove. "Where and when?" He asked me. "Friday night at the dingo." Soda and Steve laughed. We finished out shift then went to Sodas house. I awaited the date i had with Dallas Friday night more than what i had ever thought i would. For some odd reason all the hate and resentment i had for him went away. Friday night couldn't come soon enough.
