This imagine is for mermaidmelody99 hope u like it and sry it took so long.  July is literally the busiest month for me.

"Pony can you pick up Kahleia from kindergarten today. The boss is making me work late today." I said as pony and  I walked out the front door. "Sure thing soda. Can I take the truck today?" Pony asked me as we both got in the truck. "Yea just let me drive to the dx. Man I can't wait till Steve and Evie get back from their honeymoon. Steve being gone is kicking my butt." I said tiredly. "Why don't I take Kahleia and help her with her homework and take her to the park afterwards." Pony said.  "Thanks pony I'll be able to catch up on sleep for a little bit after I get home from work." I said as I pulled into the dx. "Your welcome soda have a good day at work." Pony said as I got out of the truck. I told him bye then walked inside to take over. Jarred, my boss, was inside at the register. "Hi soda. How are you today?" He asked. "Fine." I stated bluntly. He looked at me for a second and noticed the dark circles under my eyes. "Soda you look tired. How's that little girl of yours doing?" He asked. "She's doing good. Keeping me up some though." I said.  "She in school now?" He asked. "Yea. Kindergarten actually." I said with a smile thinking about her. "Soda you look tired and I can't have you working on cars like that. Why don't you go home and get some rest. If anyone comes looking for you I'll tell them that you went home to get some rest." Jarred told me. "I can't afford it. I don't have any other money comin in its all goin out." I said. "Well you will be paid since I'm sending you home." He said. "Thank you so much!!" I said.  "Your welcome. And soda take the next two days off. All paid. Just relax." Jarred said. I thanked him again then walked home to get some rest. I woke up when pony and Kahleia came in. She looked like she had been crying. "What's wrong princess?" I asked her. "Daddy I have a project that we have to do at school and I can't do it!!" She cried. "Well why not sweetheart?" I asked her as I pulled her onto my lap. I looked at pony and he gave me a sad smile.  "We have to make a family tree starting with our grandmas and grandpas on both sides of our family and going down to us. We even get to use pictures of them." She said crying a little more. "Sweetie what's wrong about that?" I asked. "I don't know where my mommy is." She said. My heart sank. I knew this was gonna happen someday, I just never thought that it was gonna be this soon. "Daddy  where is my mommy?" She asked looking up at me with the big beautiful eyes that she got from sandy. "Uh well sweetheart...she left us a long time ago. As soon as you were born." I said tripping over my words the whole time I talked. "Why did she leave us?" Kahleia asked. "I don't know baby I don't know." I said. "Is it because she didn't want me?" She asked looking at me. "No sweetheart she said you were the most beautiful baby she had ever seen. She loved you so so so much." I said trying to make it sound like sandy actually loved her child. "Then why did she leave?" Kahleia asked. "Because she was scared i guess. She wasn't really ready." I said watching the words I said very closely. "But I can't use her picture if she's not here!" She wined. "Well sweetie I have a picture of her you can use I think." I told her wishing this conversation would be over. "You do?!!" She asked smiling at me.  "Yes princess i do now go play with your dollys ok." I told her with a smile relieved that this conversation was over for now. She went into her room to play with her doll house Darry made her for her birthday. "You got pictures of sandy?" Pony asked shocked. "Yea I knew this was gonna come up someday just not today. If it wasn't for her I would have burned all those pictures and everything she gave me." I told him. He just nodded his head a little bit. Man I was so glad that the conversation was over but I'm not looking forward to the memories that it will bring up like looking at the pictures and everything I have left of sandy. I quickly fell back asleep thinking about the way things were before Kahleia was born and back when I thought sandy still loved me.
