"Mattie can you cover my shift today?" Steve asked as soon as I walked into the Curtis house. "I don't see why not. But whenever I ask you have to cover my shift." I told Steve. "Fine!!" He whined. "Come on Pepsi let's get to work!!" I yelled. Soda climbed out of the shower only clad in a towel. "For real soda. You're just now getting out of the shower? Get some cloths on or we're gonna be late." Informed. "Blame it on pony he got in the shower whenever I went to get in it!" Soda exclaimed. "Stop making excuses. They won't get us to work faster." I scolded. "Don't get your panties in a bunch Mattie you will be there in plenty of time." Two-bit said sitting down with the whole cake and a beer. "Whatever two." I said rolling my eyes. Soda walked into the living room ready to go. Except for the shoes. "Shoes." I told him. He picked them up and pulled them on as he walked out the door. We both muttered bye and continued our walk to work. "Thank god it's Friday." I said making small talk as we walked to work. "I know right. So what are you doing tonight?" Soda asked. "Well I really didn't have any plans." I told him. "Well would you like to make some? With me?" He asked me. I stopped and looked at him for a second. "Are you asking me out on a date sodapop?" I asked looking at him. He nodded. "Yea. I mean if you want to." He told me. "I would love to soda." "For real??!!" "Yes for real!!" I yelled back. We both had a smile on our faces. We quickly raced to work so that we could get the day over with that way soda and I could go on our date tonight. This was gonna be fun.
