This imagine was requested by mermaidmelody99  hope u liked it. An part 2 will be coming soon. I apologize ahead of time for any errors in grammar or spelling.  I read this so many times I have it memorized kinda. So I have decided that it is good like this plus it was copied and pasted. From what I could tell there were no errors but it happens. Thanks for reading hope y'all like.

"Come on kahleia let's stop by my house and get my coat. My parents shouldn't be home yet." Johnny told me as we walked down the street. I went to the movies with my best friend, Johnny, tonight because it has been a long week. I hate that I got put in a higher grade level because I'm supposed to be super smart. I got put into the same grade as johnny. Most of our classes are together. This week had been finals week. At the end of the last test you could hear every teacher and student sigh in relief. It's been really stressful for me because I'm only 12 and taking high school classes. Johnny opened the gate to his house and I followed him. The house was silent so no one was home. I followed johnny to his room so he could get a jacket. I sat down on johnny's bed while he grabbed a jacket. He was also gathering up some extra clothes cause he is staying over at my house tonight. We then heard a door slam. Johnny and I just froze. He looked at me wide eyed. "Johnny!!!!" Someone screamed. I assumed it was his mom. "Get in the closet she's coming." Johnny said. I didn't hesitate to go to the closet. I got in there just in time. Johnny had the door halfway shut so I could see what was going on.  His mom ran in with a bottle in her hand.  I assumed it was some kind of alcohol. Johnny doesn't say much about his parents but what I do hear about them they are horrible people. Johnny said that his mom liked to drink. A LOT!! His mom threw the bottle at him then started hitting him. I couldn't stand to watch it.  I jumped out of the closet and helped johnny. I got into a screaming match with his mom and took a few of the hits for him to. Johnny grabbed his bag coat and me and booked it out of there. Johnnys mom tried to follow us but we are to fast. Johnny is on the track team with pony. I'm not on the track team but I like to work out with pony and Johnny while they are training for track. The coach has asked me several times to run on the team but i have always told him no. It only took about five minutes to get to about a block away from my house. I knew I was gonna have a big black eye tomorrow but I didn't care. Johnny and I started walking from there. "Kahleia ya know you didn't have to take the hit for me." Johnny said. "I know Johnnycakes but I wanted to take it for you. I don't want you to get hurt." I told him. "I know that but what are your brothers gonna say when you have a black eye in the morning?" Johnny said rubbing right underneath my eye where he knew a bruise would form. "I'll come up with something." I said looking at johnny. "I'm sure ya will but what's the story to go with it?" Johnny asked with a smile. "Oh I know what I'll say." I told johnny with a smile. "What are ya gonna say?" Johnny asked almost knowing what I was gonna say. "I'll say you and I got into a fight over the last piece of cake." I said with a laugh. "They'll buy it." Johnny said with a smile and a laugh. No one would get into a fight with sweet johnny cade. Johnny and I don't fight we just rough house. And sometimes we get a little carried away. Johnny and I were talking and laughing as we walked in the door.  I walked over and sat down by soda who was eating cake. I opened my mouth so that he would give me a bite. He gave it to me and laughed at how silly I was. "What'd you do to your eye?" Soda asked. "Johnny and I got into a fight over the last piece of cake and got a little carried away." I said watching what was on tv. It was Mickey Mouse again. Two bit ain't even here at the moment why in the world is Mickey on? "Give me that remote. Two ain't even here." I said reaching for the remote which was on the other side of soda and Steve. "I am to here!!" Two-bit yelled walking in with cake and beer. Of course. "Ain't it a little late for cake and beer?" I asked sarcastically. "Ain't it a little late for you to be awake?" Two-bit asked with lack of a better comeback. "Whatever two. It's been a long week." I said leaning over onto soda. Johnny walked in with a big bowl of popcorn and sat down beside me. I changed the position I was in and leaned over onto Johnny so that I could eat some popcorn. I sat on the couch with Johnny and fell asleep watching tv. I woke up when the sunlight hit my face from the window in my room. Soda was laying beside me. He must have carried me to bed. I got up trying to not wake him up but he woke up. "Hey sis what ya doing up already?" Soda asked. "Just gonna get dressed. Find something fun to do today." I said. I walked over to my closet and grabbed some clothes. I grabbed a pair of jeans and one of johnny's old track jerseys. I put those on then walked over to my vanity. It used to be my moms but we moved it into my room after mom and dad died. I grabbed my makeup out of the top drawer. I grabbed my foundation and tried to cover up the black eye I had. I still don't regret it. Soda pop got up and walked out of the room. "How do you want your eggs today?" He asked before walking out. "Scrambled." I said. Soda then went to the kitchen to make breakfast. I turned my attention back to what I was doing. I tried to cover up the black eye but i couldn't. So I figured I would just go with black eyeshadow today. Might as well since one eye is already black. I finished my makeup then pulled my hair up into a high ponytail. I walked into the living room and got immediately tackled by Steve. I wrestled around with him until I got board. I then walked into the kitchen. Soda was making eggs and of course had another cake in the oven since the other one got finished up last night. "Hey kahleia did you see the paper this morning?" Soda asked nodding toward the paper sitting on the table. "No why?" I asked. "Because you are in it." Soda said with a smile.  "What?!" I asked picking up the paper. "Yea. The section for the school." I flipped to the section and there I was. "It's says I got the highest score on the finals. It says how I'm a child prodigy.  And how I should be taking college courses by the time I'm 15." I said reading the article. Then there was a knock on the door. Soda went to go answer it while I read the paper.  Darry walked into the kitchen. "Hey sis what ya reading?" Darry asked giving me a hug and looking at the paper over my shoulder. "Just something they wrote about me. Says I got the highest score on the finals. And that I'm a child prodigy and all that stuff. I'll be 13 in a few weeks I really wish they would stop calling me a child." I told Darry. "I know but we're greasers and the odds are stacked against us." Darry said.  Then soda walked back into the kitchen with a social worker behind him. "This is Darryl." Soda said pointing at Darry. "So you are the legal guardian of Sodapop, Ponyboy, and Kahleia Curtis?" The social worker asked. "Yes ma'am." Darry said extending his hand to shake hers.  The shook hands and she got a very serious look on her face. "I'm not here for your monthly check. I'm here to talk about your younger sister Kahleia. I would like her to be here to." The woman said. I walked back into the kitchen.  Her and Darry were sitting at the table. "Come sit down Kahleia." Darry told me. I sat down and the woman looked at me. "I have been told about your academic records. They are outstanding." The woman said. "Thank you ma'am." I said. She looked at me for a second. "Do you have a black eye?" The woman asked.  "Yes ma'am. I got it from playing football with my friends. Ball hit me in the eye." I said. "Ok. I see. Anyway I have been told you will be college bound by 15. Is that correct?" She asked. "Well ma'am to be honest that's what everyone says but I'm not really sure that collage is something I want to do. Im not really into that. I know I could get a better job with a college education but it's just not in my interests." I said. "Is it because you can't afford it? Because any college would be more than happy to have you on their campus and would be more than willing to give you a scholarship." The women said. "No ma'am college is just not what I see myself doing." I said. I was getting really frustrated with her and Darry knew it. "Are we done here?" I asked. "I must ask you one more question." The woman said. "Are you happy here?" She asked.  "Yes ma'am I am happy here. This is the only place I am happy. I'm with all the family I got by blood. Even family that ain't blood but they are always there for me." I said.  "You can go now." The social worker lady said. I walked back into the living room and sat down by Johnny. I heard Darry and the lady in the kitchen talking. The whole gang was in the living room. Well all except dally. He got put in the cooler. Again. Then Darry yelled my name again. I walked into the kitchen. "Kahleia I'm sorry to tell you this but.... I'm taking you away from your brothers and putting you in foster care." The woman said.  I couldn't believe those words just came out of her mouth. "You can't do this I'm happy here! This is my home! I can't go anywhere else!! This is where I have to be!!!" I yelled. The woman just sat there. Tears were starting to run down my face. Darry had tears in his eyes too.  I ran into the other room to soda and grabbed him and held him tight. Darry walked in and told soda to bring me into the kitchen. Soda did as Darry told. "I'll give you a day to pack and say your goodbyes." The woman said before getting up and leaving the house. I held onto soda like I would die if I let go. Darry showed the lady out then walked back into the kitchen. "What was that all about?" Soda asked. At this time everyone was in the kitchen wanting to know what was wrong. "They're taking Kahleia. The lady is coming back tomorrow morning to get her. To take her to foster care. I tried to convince her that she should stay with us but she wouldn't hear it. I'm so sorry Kahleia!!" Darry said starting to cry. I knew there was nothing to do except spend the last little bit of time I could with the people that mean the most to me. "It's ok Darry. It's not your fault." I said hugging Darry the whole gang embraced us in a hug. Man I wished dal was here. Then something rare happened. All of us started crying. The toughest and a few of the meanest greasers in all of Tulsa started to cry. We couldn't handle it. I don't like the thought of going to live with some I have never met. I wanted to stay with my brothers and the gang. Knowing my greaser luck I would be sent to some Socs house. I cried even harder at the thought of that. I want to stay with my brothers. I cried like a baby.  All of us did.  Especially Johnny and soda.  They are my world.  I am their world.  I really don't want to leave my gang. All the guys got some time with me to tell me what they felt. First was Darry. "Listen Kahleia. We will fight for you. We will get you back. This is only temporary. You will be back with us by the time school gets out." Darry said hugging me. I believed him Darry is my superman he will get me back. "I know superman. I know." I said holding onto Darry for dear life. Then it's sodas turn. "I really don't know what to say Kahleia. You are me sister. I love you so much and don't want to see you go. We will get you back no matter what. I don't care how far we have to go.  You will be with us in the end. You are our world. We need you. You are what keeps us all going since mom and dad died. You remind us so much of mom it's unreal. We need you." Soda said starting to cry.  He grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. We held each other like we would be dead if we let go. "I need you too sodapop. I need you all!!" I said crying. Next was ponys turn. "Sis I really don't know what to say but Peter Pan does.  This quote seems best. Never say goodbye because saying goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting.  I'm not going to say goodbye. I'm just gonna say see ya later kid. Because if I know Darry and soda you will be back within a week." Pony said. "I love you pony. You make everything better. Ya know that?" I said. He just nodded his head. Next it was johnny's turn.  He has something in his hand. "I want you to have this." Johnny said. He put a beautiful locket around my neck. "I was gonna give it to you I. Your birthday but now is as good a time as any." Johnny said. I opened the locket and seen a picture of Johnny and I. "I love it Johnny thank you." I said hugging him. "I can't lose you Kahleia. I'm finding myself I can't lose you." Johnny said. I couldn't lose him either. "I love you Johnny." I said. "I love you to Kahleia." Johnny said. He was crying. I really don't know how I can live like this. I can't honestly. At least I can't live like that and be happy. Next was steve's turn. He also had something for me. "Look kid I'm not really good at all the mushy good bye stuff. And I'm not gonna say goodbye. I want you to have this.  I know you will be back in a matter of weeks but I can't wait." Steve said putting a beautiful bracelet on my wrist. It had a bunch of charms on it and a one of the was a car. It had Steve engraved on it. Then there was a horse engraved with the name Kahleia on it. I loved it.  I have Steve a big hug. "Thank you so much Steve." I said. "You're welcome." Steve said with a smile. Steve really doesn't the mushy stuff. But that was alright. Last was two-bit. Two also had something for me. He had a Minnie Mouse necklace. She had her arms shaped into half a heart. I put on the Minnie necklace. Two bit held up a necklace that was on a longer chain than mine but it had a Mickey Mouse making the other half of the heart. "That way I'll always know where my minnie is!" Two said with a smile. I hugged him. He had no clue how much that meant to me. We all sat around and fell asleep on the couch after that. Tomorrow is the day we never wanted to come.

Ok y'all so after a long time of reading (sry bout that btw. Word count got away from me.) you guys come to the authors note yay!!! Ok so an update will be coming soon!!! I have a super fun game!!!
