My blue blade wasn't metal, it was a claw. So it had to work, it just had to.

"Toni, I'm going to need your help." I said, with seriousness in my voice. I handed him the blade, and pointed at Trisha. "Try to hit the vine on her leg." I started, but he looked unhappy about it. "While using that." I finished and pointed at the launcher that Gena made.

Again he nodded, although I could tell he wanted nothing to do with saving Trisha. "We are counting on you." I yelled as I took off to help Andrew. Who was breathing heavy as he was defending now, he was out of energy. "Cory, what are you doing over here." He asked as he jumped back away from an attack. "Not that it is bad, I just thought you would have gone to get Serena by now." He finished.

"Just follow my lead, I have a plan." Is all I replied. "Which will be a waste of time." Gaia's voice taunted.

She swong, but Andrew blocked it before it could get any damadge on me. "She loves sneaky attacks, so watch out." He informed me.

'Good how about this sneaky move.' I thought to myself and charged at her like an untrained idiot. She didn' t have time to attack as my shoulder colided with her stomach. She tried to bring her knee up to catch me in the chin.

I twisted around her waist and did my best to not touch anywhere disrespectfully. I pulled with all my force to lifted her off the ground. Despite her size, she weighed more than the normal human.

Just as she was more than a foot off the ground, a blue streak of light wizzed past and cut the vine....

("Wait, Hold the phone." "Why?" "You skipped my part." "But it is my story." "Give me the mic." "No." "Ow don't bite me." "I'll bite again." "Okay okay here.")

I had to heat the barrel of the launcher to fit the blade. After the metal was red hot, I worked it like clay. "Wow. You look so go doing that." Toni said as he watched me work. After a few seconds, I absorbed the heat back to cool the metal. "It should be ready to fire." I said and raised my hand like a saluting soldier.

"Wait I don't know how to work it." He said, and scratched his forhead. "Okay I'll walk you through it." I said and handed him the launcher. "Pull this lever to ready the spring part, flip this switch to lock the coil, and then pull back this gear shift to fire." I said and poked each part as I explained them. His fingers moved quickly, and skillfully. Within seconds he loaded and fired the weapon.

A blue streek wizzed through the air with incredible speed. "Damn I'm good." I said under my breath as it connected with the vine holding onto the girl. This vine made a rubberband like sound as it seperated into two pieces.

The seperation made the girl and Cory fall back a few feet, she landed on his chest. "Come on." Toni said as he started walking over to our friends. All the roots, and plants nearby shrivled up and died. Seeing her lay on top of him like that made an emotion start to boil inside me. I was rushing over to throw her off without even knowing.

"Woah woah woah. Stop." Cory's voice came out soft. "She is just unconcious." He scooted her off him and did his best to get up casually. He raised his hands up in surrender. "See i didn't touch anything. I was PG about it." He said with humor in his voice.

'Hmm.' I thought to myself and then turned around.

("Can i have the mic back?" "No you would skip this part.")

"Sure. You probably touched her everywhere while I wasn't looking." I said and smiled a bit to see how he would reply. I was messing with him at the time.

Suddenly I was turned around by his arm. His blue and silver eyes locked with mine. "No its not, I didn't..." He was saying, but couldn't find his words. *Bump Bump* 'He is so close to me.' I thought to my self, as I noticed what little distance was between us. "Look Gen I..." He stopped again. *Bump Bump* 'Why is my heart so loud?'

He sighed and looked down. Obviously to scarred to say what was on his mind. "I didn't touch her inappropriately." He said and put his hands back down. I realised my heart was so loud, because he was so close, and that I wasn't breathing.

I took a deep breath and watched as Drew went to go free Serena. Toni glarred at Trisha, but did nothing. Cory picked up the blade that cut the vine, and put it away.

Drew came out of the building a few minutes later. Serena laying loosly in his arms. He layed her onto the ground and propped her up so that she wouldn't hurt her neck for laying down to long. "Is she ok?" I asked, but Toni butted in quickly as soon as he saw her. "Wow. She is hot." He said. Drew blocked him from getting any closer. "I only want to talk to her." He pleaded and tried to get closer. "Not on your life." Drew replied.

"Can someone help me up?" A shrill voice came from near Cory. "I feel weak." The voice said again, It was Trisha. Cory reluctantly went closer to help her up. "Well aren't you handsome. I guess jail light doesn't look good on you." She said to him, which made a ting of annoyance start in the back of my mind.

Suddenly she sprang upwards, her arms wrapped around his neck, and her legs around his waist. She got close to his face. "Thanks for saving me. I should give you something." She said in a flirty way. Cory didn't reply, instead he used one hand to unlock her legs from his waist. Before she could react he took her hands off too, and she dropped back onto the ground with a smile.

(*high pitched mic sound* "You can't just drop the mic like its a rap battle." "I do what I want.")

"Oh, so you are the rough type!" She exclaimed with a seductive smile. 'I'm starting to wish that Toni would have shot her instead.' I thought to myself with annoyance getting thicker from her flirting. "No, you are just not my type." He answered her exclaimed question.

"Look Trisha we need..." She cut him off. "My real name is Kaylyn, I just use my middle name when I'm with strangers." She said still smiling at him. "As a daughter of Hermes you should be able to get us to the underworld." He said and gave no indication that he had heard her.

She got off the ground, and got close to him. "Maybe for the right price." She said and started to walk her fingers up his arm. This was really ticking me off. 'She is so lucky we need her or else she would be a Cannibal's BBQ meal right now.' Crossed my mind. Her hand was now on his face, and her fingers tapped on his lips a few times. "What do you think?" She asked him, and her back now facing me.

Cory's hand grabbed hers, not gentally though. "I think you will have to find a different payment." He said, tossing her hand away. "Fine." She said and turned away from him. "Guess I will think about it on the way there."

Toni was still trying to get past Drew, who was blocking him. Serena groaned a bit and sat up. So I rushed over to her. One of the sides of her bangs had been cut short, must have been when she fought back. "Serena. Are you ok?" I asked her, now I was only a foot away. "Gena!" She shouted as she stood up quickly and hugged me. She felt so cold compared to me, but the hug was still warm. "She is up guys!" I shouted over her shoulder. "Andrew!" She shouted and pulled him into our hug. Toni came to a sliding stop as he sprinted over to meet her. "Hi I'm Toni..." He started, she was calling Cory over next.

Soon the four of us were hugging like a bunch of school kids on the last day. He tried again "Hi I'm..." "Toni, I know you already said that. Come on join us."
