The arrow flew at him, but he disappeared a millisecond before it hit him. He appeared next to me, and flipped me. Serena tried to attack him. He caught her hand, and pivoted around her to kick Toni. He was moving to fast. Much faster than before. Andrew swung, yet was countered by the enemy.

I climbed to my feet, only to be kicked in the face. Blood dribbled down my face. I tried again to get up. A foot landed on my chest stopping me. "You are so much weaker. This is no challenge." His ring shined bright, mocking me. He dropped something next to me. "Let's make this fun." He said and then vanished off my chest.

Laying next to my face was the little silver key. I picked it up without hesitation. The part of my ring with the moon etching opened up to reveal a hole. 'Once you do this there will be no going back.' The Roman voice said to me, I ignored his warning. The key slide in the hole, and a hiss of air escaped. My ring exploded into a thick cloud of smoke. This smoke was blacker than the deepest depths of coal mines. "The true potential of the Pandora ring is now unlocked." My enemy said, he was walking around my friends. The enemy seemed to be moving like normal now. His armor grew spikes, and a Greek helmet appeared on his head. He also had smoke around him, but it was celestial bronze color.

I summoned my spear, and the smoke materialized into several spears. One in each hand, the others floated like deadly humming birds. They were all six feet tall, and the tips were vibrating. I attacked, the enemy did to. The spears acted to my will, launching, lunging, blocking, and even exploding.

He was using two swords to match my spears, and he blocked by making the spikes on his armor grow, or shrink. He nicked my arm, and I got him back in the shoulder.

I made my spears dive at him, he jumped up and slashed. I blocked, but he pushed his heel down onto one of my spears. The sudden weight made my arm lock and drop the spear. He kicked it up before I could move. I had been left wide open.

The spear pierced my body, and into my left lung, he grabbed another spear and impaled me through the stomach. With my last amount of strength, I made the metal spear grapple onto his hand. My friends, seemed to be moving at full speed now. We had used up a timed ability of enhanced reaction time, and speed.

I didn't realize a yelp escaped my mouth. Until he pointed it out. "Such a baby. Nothing except whining." He said as he looked to my friends:

Blood launched from Cory's body from a spear. "Such a baby. Nothing except whining." The enemy holding the weapon said. I couldn't believe it. The point of the spear was sticking out his back, dripping with blood. I tried to summon my flames, but nothing happened. 'So many people lost in my life. Please not him too.' I pleaded in my mind. 'Do you accept your position as titanness?' My other half asked me. My eyes stung, but my heart stung worst. 'Yes. For him I would.' I answered. "Close your eyes!" I shouted to them. "Yes don't watch your friend die." The enemy said and thought I was joking. Everyone except him closed their eyes.

Flames erupted from me, my back felt as if my shoulder blades were trying to crawl out. My wings burst out of my back, and purple embers danced on the bone pieces. A heat wave launched at the enemy. He snickered, and a cloud of celestial bronze smoke snuffed it out. His smile quickly faded when he tried to let go of the spear. "I got you now you slippery bastard." Cory said with a cocky cough. Cory raised his hand and snapped two fingers. The spear exploded. This launched the enemy into the lake, and sent Cory backward into a tree.

He was laying down cold, it dawned on me that he might be dead. My anger made my wings crackle with heat. My sorrow was turned to complete disgust towards the enemy. The others went to check on Cory. Ax in hand, I few at the enemy, who was using the smoke to stay on top of the water.

I slashed my weapon, which made a wave of fire slice through the air. This hit him directly, and he staggered. His armor was blackened in a few areas. I closed the distance. I sliced at him, and my anger grew the more I thought of the sound that escaped Cory. That sound made me want to tell him everything. Let him know my past, just as long as I never had to hear it again.

Now all I wanted was to hurt this person. "You. You killed him!" I said not giving the enemy any time to counter. Even saying those words made no sense. He caught my axe in a metal gauntlet. Instead of burning him, I kicked him hard in the chest. He flew back like a cannon ball. Back towards the ground and trees. I flew at him faster. Fire built up covering a fist.

He hit a tree, and before he could reach the ground, I struck him in the stomach. The force of my punch made a shockwave of fire slice trees clean through. My wings wrapped around him, and started to constrict him like an angry snake. "What is the name that I write on your urn?" I asked him. His face for once clear, and now terrified. The name Neil popped in my head.

"Neil?" I asked him. "No it's Damocles!" He corrected me angerly. "The greatest warrior of Nemesis should be named Damocles!" He said with his voice growing. I didn't care so I made the flames crawl into him. With in seconds, he was reduced to a thick pile of ash.

I then flew to Cory. 'You can revert to this form at anytime.' My voice echoed in my head and my wings disappeared as I landed. Cory was alive, but not moving. "He has a collapsed lung, a hole through his stomach, and possible internal bleeding. He won't make it to a hospital." Andrew said to me. "I'm afraid...Afraid to lose you guys." He said and motioned for my hand. Tears were forming in my eyes. The blood stained his white shirt hiding the red heart decal, making it just say: I Rome.

"I need you to do something. Put me in the lake. I was supposed to be given up to Posidon as a baby." He grabbed my hand, in it was his arrow head necklace. "No I won't leave you..Cory we love.." I choked on my sobs. "Did you kill the enemy?" He asked me. "Yeah." I said "I ashed him."

"Damn, I'm friends with Hitler." He said, squeezing one last joke out of his life. We carried him to the water, and placed him gentaly in. He flinched. "I thought I would be cold in death, not sad." He said before skeleton hands reached from the murky dark to get him. "I will see you again." I said to him. My sobs becoming worst. "Gen...I lo...lo..." his voice stopped, long with his slow blinking. He had died right there, and was dragged down into the nothingness.

My tears dropped rapidly, and I struck the water. "Give him back. Please.. just give him back." I pleaded to the water, although nothing happened.
