Running down the hall, making my way to the window that laid in the distance. "Damn this is a bad idea." I said to myself out loud.

I took off my orange Camp shirt and wrapped it around my arm. It shuffled loosely, although I didn't stop to readjust it. I clenched my fist nervousness as the window drew near. Rushing forward my arm hit the window, which shattered as my whole body passed through it.

The glass rained downwards around me as I fell, but I had no time to relax. I reached my hand out to grab ahold of a flagpole connected to the building. My grip tightened around the pole, but something unfortunate happened. The pole was hollow and weak, which made it bend downwards from my weight and momentum. I fell into the rose bushes bellow. In the fall one of my hands was closed to the wall, out of bad luck it struck the building causing an abrasion on my forearm.

The bush stopped my fall, but the thorns still made me regret it. I fumbled on top of them, trying to regain myself. Getting up finally, I noticed all the thorn that speckled my skin from landing. "If my adrenalin wasn't so high right now, I seriously would be hurting." I said to myself and removed all the ones I could see.

The building made noises that snapped me back to reality. "The others." I said and took off running. Moving, dodging falling pieces, and sprinting I made my way around the building to find the fire escape. Which popped into view after turning a corner. It was crumpled and destroyed not before being rode down like construction worker cowboys by my teammates, next to the already ruined building. Andrew and Toni landed there. Andrew landed like a superhero holding Gena, Toni came to an awesome roll as the metal crashed down. They looked back like they were waiting for me to show up at the top or something. They had a way cooler exit than me, and I was covered in thorns.

"Guys!" I shouted to get their attention. The looked over, then rushed when they saw me. "I would give the hotel a three star rating. The hostess was way too rude." Toni said with a small laugh. "Um. Cory, why is your shirt off?" Andrew asked, and turned away to hide his face that was turning pink. Remembering that I had my shirt off, I put it on.  "Sorry I had to use it to jump out a window." I answered, then placed my face in my palm with a sigh.

"What is it?" They asked in unison. "I could of used my gauntlet." I said now realizing it. "How is Gen?" I asked taking the spotlight off me. "I'm fine, just tired." She answered me, and tried to get out of Andrew's arms. For a second she wobbled, but she was back to standing right in a few seconds. "Wait." She said and turned towards the way me and Toni had arrived from. "I sense her." She added, and reached into the air at an angle as if to grab something, before doubling over and vomiting a small bit. Andrew patted her back as she wrenched a little more.

"Where?" I asked looking around, and scanning the area. "She is a few miles from here." She answered through the actions and put her hand down to move her hair. "Who are we talking about?" Toni asked looking puzzled. "Serena." Andrew answered him.

"Who is that!" He said sounding more interested in the conversation. "She is someone we met in Tennessee. We helped her with something." I told him. "She is a daughter of Athena." Gena added. "But she was kidnapped when we were retuning to camp." Andrew said, but made a face as if it was his fault.

Looking over, I saw Gena differently. Her skin was still the same, but healthier and glowing. Her eyes, looked so different, and yet they gave me the same goosebumps when ever they made contact with mine. "This jacket makes me look fat huh?" She asked, sounding like her old self again. She could have been forcing it, I hoped she wasn't.

"Nah, I think you could use a sandwich." Toni chimed in, which I punched him in the shoulder for afterwards. "I meant like everyone needs food. Not just you in particular." Toni said trying to save himself. She gave him a small huff of a sigh. She was hungry now that her stomach was emptier than before. "So how can you sense the person you are looking for?" Toni asked her.
"No entirely sure. For some reason I'm seeing threads in the air. All connected to the people I've known and care for. They appear and disappear from view but I think if I keep thinking about her I just know which one is hers..if that makes any sense." She said and pulled from my direction. My ears started to pop as she did what ever she was doing.
"See if I pull on the thread connected to Cory there isn't really any feel to it." It wasn't until she plucked it like a guitar string that I felt a tingle down my spine. "That was kinda weird." I admitted as a shiver shook my body slightly.
