"OOF!" I hit the floor for the who knows however many times, feeling sore.

Kal and I had only been practicing sword fighting for twenty minutes, and I have not once beaten her.

"Woot! Twenty one out of twenty one! Want to go for twenty two?" She helped me up.

"Only if you let me use my staff."

"You need to train with other weapons."

"As do you!"

"Fine, I'll take a staff and you take my swords." She tossed me her other sword, and I adjusted my purple, kimono style shirt with a single flower, so it covered my stomach again.

I pointed my sword to an iron rod, knowing it would be about the same weight, and maybe a few inches shorter than my wooden one. "Use that one."

"Ok." She shrugged and picked it off of the rack.

"Ready?"

"Go!" I shouted, running towards her and slashed her blades at her as she attempted to block with the staff, but was struggling. I knocked it out of her hands and held the blade to her chest as she was on the ground from losing her balance. "I think I win this round." I held out my hand for her to pull her up, and she took it.

"That's harder than you make that look." She held out her hand and I handed back her twin blades which she sheathed. "Shall we go eat? I am starving." She asked as I put away the metal rod.

"When aren't you?" I chuckled, "Sure, why not?"

We walked into the cafeteria, and ordered two meals, before sitting down at a table. Nearby, the spear bearer guys and Mercy were talking, their food trays to the side as the guys were the main ones chatting and Mercy was just listening.

"So, you ready for class tomorrow?" Kal showed the rice and veggies into her mouth and struggled to pick up her eel with her chopsticks.

"Yeah, so you know which room that the light bearer class is in, or who the teacher even is?" I picked at the veggies before finally picking up a leafy green veggie with the chopsticks and shoved it into my mouth.

"Yeah, I can take you there. It's on the way to our room. And it's Lero Ro."

I coughed, choking on the leaf in surprise, "The first administer on this floor? The guy who put up the shinsu barrier? I thought he would be the wave controller teacher!" I chugged some water to clear my throat.

"Nope, wave controller class doesn't start for three days after ours," She mumbled, annoyed, wishing she had three free days.

"You two done?" I looked up and saw Mercy walking over to us.

"Go back to your date!" Kal shouted.

"It's not a date," She rolled her eyes, "Besides, they all left to get some sleep for tomorrow."

"Yeah... Our classes are at six in the morning." Kal sighed, and got up, throwing away the bowls and we walked to our room. I opened before feeling Kal poke my arm. "Before we go to sleep, I wanted to ask you something."

I jumped and looked at her. "Yeah?"

"How exactly did you pop the ball on the first floor? With your staff?" She poked me repeatedly.

"Um, I lured the White Eel, to break it." I bit my lip.

"So you crashed it into the ball? That's soo cool!"

"Yeah, that's right." I gave a fake smile, and sighed.

My two friends laid down and fell asleep, but I couldn't, so I stared at the ceiling. I felt Chrome climb inside of of my pigtails, and power off. He liked to hide in my hair.
