Chapter Ten

I flopped onto the bed in the room provided, exhausted from the trials of the third floor.

"No, you. Up." Kal tried to pull me up.

"Why? I am tired." I yawned, exhausted.

"We are going to partay!" She put her arms above her head, and did a little dance.

I groaned and put a pillow over my head, blocking out the noise, trying to sleep.

I don't know how long it was before I finally dozed off.

"Edric, watch out!" I heard Mercy shout, and looked to see him flying through the air, as an arrow pierced his wing.

"I got him!" Another voice, possible Weldon, shouted, as Edric started plummeting.

I dodged from the sound of a sword swishing through the air, when I found that my arm was already injured.

"Jigu!" I heard Kal shout, and saw as she tossed me my staff, which I caught it and blocked the attacker.

The face wasn't clear for the one who was attacking me, nor was it for anyone else except my team.

I yelped, feeling an arrow imbed itself into my shoulder.

The pain throbbed, as I looked to see how deep it was. I broke the staff ofthe arrow, and left in the tip, knowing it was would help it from not bleeding as much compared to if I tore it out.

I knocked out the guy and ran to the one closest to me, who was fighting Dustin.

Dustin's bracelets glowed, forming his scythe in his hands, as he swung around and killed the one he was fighting.

Jeonsa and Noe were back to back, holding off a group of wild animals, powered by one of the attackers.

Mercy was stabbing legs left and right, forcing our enemy to fall to their knees in pain. Kal was attacking everyone with her double blades.

Weldon was tending to Edric who was bleeding and out cold.

Ewart was summoning baangs and throwing them everywhere, as well as crystals exploding from the ground.

"Mercy! Duck!" I shouted, running and tackling the one about to stab her.
We fumbled as we rolled down a hill, equally taking the bluntness of the ground.

I winced as I felt my side be stabbed, and flinched, before the guy was knocked out.

I struggled to stand, feeling weak headed.

"Grassy, you ok?" I heard Kal faintly shout.

"Y-yeah... Just...Ugh..." I winced, and held the wound.

"Jigu? JIGU!" She slid down the hill as I felt my legs give out and I fell into the water where it was.

I felt my clothes grow heavy as it soaked in both water and my blood, sinking me deeper and deeper into the lake, or whatever it was.

"Am I dying?" I thought, feeling the air escape my lungs. I could faintly see, as the blood from both the arrow and stab wound filled the water around me.

A splash softly echoed, as blackness filled my vision, and I saw someone swimming towards me, trying to grab me, before it went entirely dark.

I woke up, the bright light of the room blinding me.

"I'm hungry." Kal had a face as she sat next to me.

"Go get food yourself." I mumbled, throwing a pillow at her.

She laughed.

"Kal, I'll take you. Come on." Ewart told her.

"Yay!" FOOD!" Miss Hyper raced out of the room.

"Thanks Ewart, I owe you one." I smiled.

"You owe me food." He mumbled. "And as much money as Kal makes me use."

"Yep." I smiled, and watched as he followed after her.

I got up and rubbed my eyes, feeling a stinging pain in my shoulder and side.

I moved my shirt sleeve up from my shoulder to see a scar, healed, but exactly where the arrow had pierced in my dream. I looked at my stomach where the blade had stabbed me and saw the same thing.

"Maybe being here makes the dream pain real." I sighed.

I went and looked at the others.

Mercy and Edric was playing some game, Mercy bundled up in a blanket as it was wrapped around her head. Edric was smiling, one of his wings wrapped around her protectively.

I moved onto the next room. In there, Jeonsa was having her hair braided by Noe, the two sitting in the silence.

Dustin and Weldon were both asleep in their shared room, as it was quiet otherwise.

I sighed, and went back to my room, but ran into the Rankers.

Tae and Geu spotted me. "Hi!" Sun smiled and waved at me. Geu gave a small smile.

"Hello." I smiled at them. "Can I do something for you?"

"No, we just wanted to make sure that you were alright." Shadow nodded.

"I am personally ok. As for the others, I believe so."

Sun suddenly touched my shoulder. "You're hurt! How did this happen?"

"Oh, I had a bad dream. It's nothing."
"If you think it's from the fact that this is the floor of dreams, you're wrong and right." Shadow moved my sleeve to the side so she could see the wound. "Yes, pain that is inflicted can be real, but, it should not leave scars like this."

"I'm ok, it doesn't hurt."

"You are different, miss Kkoch."

"A lot of people say that." I sighed.

"And I think it is more than you know. Come with me real quick." She gently pulling on my arm. "I must see something."

"Ok?" I followed confused.

Mercy and Edric had dozed off on each other, as Kal snuck in and took pictures, grinning. "Gold..."

"I am going to kill you Kal..." Mercy mumbled, half awake from the whisper, as Kal raced out of there, holding back laughter.

"There! I'm done!" Noe smiled, as Jeonsa hair one long braid down her back.

"You made my hair like yours?" She asked, monotonous.

"Yep!" She showed it to her.

"This is... Interesting." She blinked.

"Come on, I am your best friend, Noe Khun." She smiled, "Like you, a member of the great ten families."
"Best... friend?" She asked confused.
"Jeonsa Aire, I have so much to teach you." Noe hugged her tightly.

"BANANA FISH!" Dustin shouted out of nowhere, making Weldon jolt awake and fall off his bed, before falling back asleep on the floor.

Just a normal day with the group.
