The scenery of the next floor reminded me of a boot camp.

"Is anyone getting really scary vibes?" Weldon whispered from besides me.

"SCARY?! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!" Kal grinned, ecstatic that we were on this floor.

"Glad you think so." A new voice said, as a woman with spiky mauve hair styled like a mohawk jumped over a barrier. "Welcome to the floor of parkour. The last one where you get help, for awhile at least. I'm Pap Yeon."

"You're from the Yeon family?!" Noe blurted out, and instantly regretted it, as Pap's attention turned to the two of us from the ten family.

"Ah, a Khun and Aire. Such an unlikely pair. And yes, I am from the Yeon family, I know I don't look the part, but I am." She revealed a pendant light pink flower with small blue beads in the middle from under her black and white crop tank top. A zygaena's flower. A symbol of the power of the yeon family. "Any other questions you want to ask?"

"No ma'am..." Noe mumbled.

"Good. Welcome to the parkour floor, the sixth floor in the tower. Here you will be tested to survive several obstacles before you begin your climb into the tower with little help. Now follow me, Regulars. If you want to survive."

She turned around and lead us towards a building which I assumed would be our quarters in our time to rest here.

Her purple eyes matched the shade of her shaved sides of her head, as it was violet, as she stared ahead.

Mercy walked up besides me. "Jigu?"

"Yeah?" I looked at her.

"Chrome jumped from your pack to Jesona, just so you know."

I turned and looked at her as Chrome crawled from Jesona's hand to her shoulder, and curled up there. I smiled at the fact that he was trying to make new friends as I was, as Jesona gave a small smile that we rarely saw as she patted his little head.

We looked at the massive building and walked in. Others poked their heads out of rooms to see the new arrivals, and I suspected that the tests would be given all at once to all these groups and only a few could advance.

I looked for a familiar face but did not see one, and it made me assume that if there were any, they were on one of the different floors of this building.

"The tests will begin in the morning. Good night, regulars. Pap turned and left.

"Wait, Pap." I ran after her after my friends went into our room. "Sorry. I just wanted to let you know that Bul said hi."

"You look a lot like a Kkoch, you're his niece aren't you? You know he never shut up about you right?" She chuckled.

"Really?" I blinked surprised.

"Yep. He wanted to wish that you and your mom could become rankers without needing to climb the tower, but that and bringing someone back from the dead in unheard of."

"So, what did he wish for then?"

"I don't know." She shrugged. "You better get some sleep. Tomorrow will be hard. Thanks for delivering his message." She smiled softly.

"Alright. Goodnight." I nodded and went into my room, and sighed. I took a bed and powered up my lighthouses, opening a door and hopping in. I put the Dreamwriter in the spot I made for it, before standing in front of the floating cubes.

I powered up the computer, and smiled. I pulled up the files I made of my friends, and found Jesona's and wrote that Chrome liked to relax on her shoulder.

I then pulled up mine, and wrote my daily log, basically stating where we were, what we were doing, and what we planned to do.

I reread over the log, as I sighed and pressed enter.

I heard a knock and opened the lighthouse, seeing Ewart. "Hey Ewart. What can I do for you?" I asked him, turning around.

"I just was wondering if you could look up something for me with your lighthouse."

"Sure. What is it that you're looking for?" I turned back to the screens.

"Any blue crystal people."

I was confused, but did."There are a few Rankers, but other than that I am not seeing very many in the tower. There are a lot of red ones though below the tower, and a few in it."

He sighed sadly. "Thanks Jigu." He turned to leave.

"Ewart? May I ask why you asked?" I looked at him worried.

"Just wondering." He gave an easy smile, "Goodnight." He left.

The lighthouse door closed and I thought curiously.

I sighed and shut off the lighthouse as I exited and climbed into bed to get to sleep.

In the morning, I was awoken by an air horn blasting over an intercom. I heard Weldon and Edric scream as they fell out of their beds, while, Mercy sat straight up in surprise and Kal jumped from her bed, her swords already out. I looked at Ewart who was somehow already awake, and Noe who was trying to wake Jesona.

"How is she still asleep?"

"She is a heavy sleeper...." Noe had tears running down her face in frustration, before she yelped as Jesona rolled over and pinned Noe down as she held her like a teddy bear. "Can't.... Breathe..."

"I gotcha." Edric lifted the arm and Jesona woke up, releasing Noe.

Jesona whispered a soft sorry as she got up, brushing her ankle length pigtails with her fingers.

The doors opened and we piled out, and as did the other groups on our floor and I assume the rest of the building.

We went outside, where Pap was waiting.

"Welcome Regulars! As you know, I am Pap Yeon of the Yeon family, and I am in charge of the sixth floor in the tower." She was standing on some platform. "This floor is not an easy one, and many of you very well might die here."

There was a small murmur through the crowd.

I sent one of my lighthouses up in invisible mode to have a peek of what we were up against. I spotted some perhaps familiar faces, as well as a group of a man that looked like a Khun and a.... Alligator?

"Day one, is training with your groups you arrived in. Day two, is against the others in your positions, then on day three, only eight of the twenty of your groups will be allowed to advance in the tower. The others will have to stay behind and try again, or give up the dream to climb the tower."

"That is harsh... That's less than half..." Mercy whispered from besides me.

"We have to pass it. Now or later, but we have to." Kal whispered from the other side.

"For the first day, in your groups, it now begins." The ground shook as several courses appeared around us, "One tip. Don't fall. There is no net to catch you."

She vanished in thin air, as the groups started to split off.

I looked at my friends and was worried.

This was going to be hard, but I knew we could do it.
