Madeline's POV- December 2016

I patted William's thigh getting his attention.

"Yes?"

"Let's dance" I told him.

He began shaking his head and I smiled. It was funny because he thought I was asking.

"It wasn't a question" I stated.

Kasperi, his roommate who was sitting next to him chuckled and took a sip of his beer. I lightly nudged Morgan who glanced at me.

"Mind sliding out?" I asked.

He nodded and slid out of the booth.

"Where are you two going?"

"To dance" I replied.

Morgan smiled.

"You'll save me a dance, right?"

I slid out of the booth and nodded as I stood up.

"Of course" I answered as I fixed my dress.

I turned to William who was sliding out of the booth.

"Let's go" I said.

He chuckled and followed me to the dance floor.

"I take it that the date didn't go well"

"Date went real well" I stated earning a confused expression from him.

"Then what's up Auston's ass?"

I began dancing and smiled when he joined me.

"Desi was waiting for him" I told him.

He tried to stop himself from laughing, but failed...miserably. I waited for him to compose himself, and once he did he looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Really?"

I nodded.

"She seemed nice" I said.

He chuckled.

"Only you would think that Maddy"

I shrugged.

"She's a beautiful girl" I admitted.

"The beauty hides how psycho she really is"

The conversation was dropped as Venga Boys, 'We Like To Party' began playing. He was impressed that I knew the song word for word, and even some dance moves. We danced another two songs, and I smiled when I saw Kasperi making his way over.

"You look tired so how about we switch places?"

William nodded and narrowed his eyes.

"No funny business"

Kasperi grinned.

"Me? Never"

I laughed and stumbled a bit as someone bumped me.

"Woah there, you ok?"

I steadied myself and nodded.

"Yeah, it's just crowded" I replied.

"Makes sense, now show me your dance moves"

He didn't dance as well as William, but the boy had rhythm. I met Kasperi before the game today, and even sat with him. He was a total flirt, but it was harmless flirting.

"Is he glaring?" I asked.

Kasperi nodded and grinned.

"If looks could kill, I'd be a dead man"
