My world was monochrome yet somehow you brought a newer tone,
Your colours, beautiful and bright, replaced some darkness with their light.
You brought warmth and eternal summers, to my wintery days,
But when the sunshine melts the snow, will you, indeed, stay?
Keep bringing me colours and let me keep your warmth,
Ignore my clouds and snow and all the things I've stormed,
You'll have your storms and unsteady seas, just as I have mine,
Perhaps during those storms, our lightning could align?
