Harmonise your laughter cries to the melody of mine,
Show your teeth in happy grins, show them you're doing fine.
Cut your hair and dye it too, change yourself completely,
Change your name and relocate, only think of them so briefly.
Buy new shoes and change your style, you're a whole new you,
But does all of it really matter if you don't change your insides too?
You still think of them, the way they were and all the things they said,
You can't help but think, and think and think, and you can't just sleep instead.
You're moving on, but probably only physically,
But your mind remains in early days, thinking of them unwillingly.
