People fear the idea of being subdued that is why they'll do everything to strengthen and broaden their power.
People fear the idea of their belief not believable enough by many and being conquered by other beliefs that is why they fight for it even though there is no basis if it is true or not.
People fear the idea that they will soon run out of resources, riches and other material things that is why they'll do anything to gain possession of the property of others.
People fear being killed and so, they kill their potential killers.
People fear everything and that is when greed comes in the way.
