i awkwardly handed you the bouquet, "it's... for you."

i guess i should've rehearsed a more romantic line, instead of throwing myself a pity party. but you grinned anyway.

"yellow daisies?" you quirked a brow, happy eyes staring at me.

"yeah... they um. they reminded me of you because you're always so bright and happy, like the sun..." god i hate myself.

"i love it. thank you, ty."

my lips curled slightly.

anyways, i learned "anyways" isn't a word and it's supposed to be "anyway" but that's not gonna stop me from saying "anyways" because im sure people dont even know "anyways" is considered grammatically incorrect.
