to say tyler wasn't the slightest amount of drunk would have been an absolute lie. the boy had been giggling non-stop at stupid sentences that were slurred together and made little to no sense.
his eyes were red from the amount of alcohol he had consumed and drugs he'd been around.
maybe dragging him to a party wasn't exactly the best thing that joshua could've done, but for once in blue moon the boy had actually wanted to go and josh couldn't say no to seeing a drunk tyler.
the brunet currently had been sitting on his lap with a goofy grin stretched out across his face. the blond had his right hand securely on tyler's waist, covering a small spot of showing skin that was available for everyone to see. his tattoo peeking out from underneath the mesh top that showcased the small curves of his body, and josh's finger absentmindedly ran over it.
"i'm not drunk, i'm tyler." the boy giggled as one of josh's friends pete commented on how the boy was acting.
"you're so cute, you're so fucking cute, i want you on my shelf!" another one of his friends ashley said as she poked his nose to which tyler hid his face in josh's neck and wrapped his arm around the boy's neck.
josh smiled at the boy and just held him closer to his body. he loved a drunk tyler because he usually was very giggly, clingy, and overall very cute to the point it hurt joshua's heart.
"thank you." he meekly said as he poked his head out before he hiccuped, his body slightly jolting and his eyes widening before his mouth turned into a frown.
the blond took another sip of his drink before tyler was getting up and pulling ashley to the dance floor to dance with her. pete went off to grab another drink, offering to grab josh another one to which he declined saying he had to drive home being that everyone was drinking more than they thought they would.
joshua watched as the small boy goofily danced with ashley's arms around his body, stopping every few seconds to laugh at whatever the girl said and just bobbing along to the music that flowed through the loud speakers. his movements were a little clumsy, but mainly adorable as he danced.
josh always thought tyler was cute and needed to be protected from the world even though the brunet could be extremely strong and independent when in the right state of mind, but he never really thought of him other than a friend.
that didn't mean there was a possibility he did feel something in his chest every time the boy just did something as simple as look at him, but he always took the feeling as a friendly one.
joshua didn't know that soon or later those feelings would either guide him the right direction, or destroy the both of them piece by piece.
