it scared tyler, how much he was happy. how much being outside somewhere besides his home, with someone who wasn't josh or melanie, made him so happy. watching the young blond boy squeal with happiness as they rode some of the roller coasters located along the pier, made tyler's heart swell with happiness. he also heavily enjoyed the small little conversations being spoken on both ends of the friendship that was beginning to grow stronger the longer they walked together.

it definitely took the brunet's mind off of things that had been bothering him for the longest time, but it also had made him think.

did tyler really want to spend the rest of his life going nowhere, right alongside somebody who clearly didn't want him in any way he wanted him? he could always just tell him, let it all out and then find somewhere to go that wasn't with joshua... the only problem is that would take some time to find somewhere to stay.

"what's on your mind jellyfish?" oliver asked as they peered out the window of the restaurant they had been sitting at. tyler's round eyes were locked on the water that was peacefully flowing up along to the shore.

the brunet smiled, one that wasn't authentic, but something he thought was at least believable; it wasn't. "nothing, important. how was your food?" tyler asked to try and take the questioning off of himself.

oli narrowed his eyes at the younger boy but didn't bother to say anything. he could tell the brunet had something he didn't want to talk about on his mind, and he wasn't going to pry him to talk about it.

"well, it's very sea-foodie... is that a word?" he asked, earning a laugh from tyler and himself.

noah turned to look at them with one eyebrow raised. he had been quietly coloring in a picture on the kids menu of a fish with a smiley face. a few splatters of cheese were besides his lips, so tyler grabbed his napkin and wiped it off.

"we can say it is? no one has to know if it is or not." the small brunet answered with a soft smile.

"what are you talking about?" noah asked, his head tilting to the side a bit as he awaited for an answer from either adult. tyler ran his hand through the blond curls that sat atop of his head, the velvety feeling running over his fingers.

"do you think sea-foodie is a word?" oliver asks his son with a curious playful gaze.

noah hums while staring down at the kids menu that was evenly colored, his fingers tapping along the paper until he nods his head. "it has to be a word! sea-foodie... that's a funny word." and then the blond is giggling, repeating the words over and over again which eventually makes the two adults laugh too.

"it was really fun hanging out with you today, both of you." tyler smiled when they pulled into his apartment complex. noah whined loudly, his arms crossing over one another's as he pouted. lower pink lip jutting out further than his top lip.

"i don't want you to leave." he voiced, his eyes filling with tears as he looks at the small brunet.

"hey bubba, don't cry. this isn't the last time i will see you, you can come over anytime you want." tyler said with wild eyes, his lips contorting into a pout to match the child's own.

noah slowly nodded his head and wiped at his eyes. "you promise?" he asked with a sniffle.

"of course i promise! i can't stay away from you for that long." the brunet smiles, leaning over the middle console and reaching to place a quick kiss on the young boys cheek.

oliver watched the scene unfold with a small smile etched upon his face. his hands were folded in his lap, eyes scanning over the people who walked in and out of the building with their car keys in their hands and a jacket wrapped tightly around their body.

"thank you oli for tonight... it was really fun." tyler said with a smile, his back now leaning against the car door.

"no, thank you for showing us around. i really enjoyed it, and i know noah did too." the england native says, before the two male's are saying goodbye to each other and sending each other off on their way.

tyler sighs as he walks up to his shared apartment, his hands reaching into his pocket to pull out the set of keys that had at least one apartment key in the mixture. he unlocked the door and turned the knob walking past the threshold that surrounded the outside from the inside. he could feel his throat dry up when he heard it.

the loud sounds of an unfamiliar person obnoxiously moaning, and the familiar sounds of another man groaning alongside the high pitched noises.

his swallowed, blinking rapidly to avoid the tears from spilling down his cheeks and almost choked when he spotted the two people on the couch.

out in the open, there was joshua; the one person tyler truly had loved with everything, fucking another woman who he probably met at the club.

his keys fell onto the floor.
