hands ran down his chest as his fingers clicked at the buttons on his keyboard. his tight button up displaying the muscles hidden underneath the fabric and turning the random female on beyond belief.
however, unlike other times, josh wasn't feeling it so he pushed her hands off of him and went back to working without sharing the girl a glance. she huffed while crossing her arms across her chest and jutting out her lower lip.
"you don't wanna play?" she asked with a small whine, this action causing the older boy to roll his eyes at the overly high pitched tone.
"if i remember correctly, i never said i ever wanted to play and you're annoying me while i'm trying to work so?" josh answered, his eyes still on the email's he was planning on sending to the higher-ups.
as the girl went to speak some more, a knock was heard to which joshua shouted a 'come in' and smiled when he heard the voice of ashley.
"oh, am i disturbing something?" she asked as she pointed to the female pouting in the corner with red cheeks and too much makeup, fixing her gold silk dress pants that had risen up a little from the walk up the small set of stairs.
"yes." the girl said at the same time josh said, "no."
"she was just about to leave weren't you candice?" he asked the girl, now looking at her with an impolite smile that was obviously fake. ashley stifled back her laughter as she walked closer to josh's desk and sat the paperwork on top of the other work that had been there.
"my names lilah, and how come i have to leave and she gets to stay? you can fuck her with no problem, but you can't fuck me! how come every time i try, you turn me down?" the girl now known as lilah said as she started to fill up with anger and jealousy.
the blonde haired girl let out a small chuckle before clasping her hands together and clearing her throat. "honey, there's a thing called being best friends with a boy and not hopping on their dicks. maybe he just doesn't wanna fuck you because you're annoying." she shrugged with an unapologetic grin.
lilah gasped and crossed her arms over her chest with a scowl on her face. "you're a bitch! how dare you speak to me like that, josh are you not going to tell her to stop?" she practically screamed, her chest rising and falling rapidly from the rage coursing through her veins.
"truth hurts my friend, now if you could leave, i have work to do with my friend." was the last thing said to the girl before she was storming out while wiping underneath her eyes, making the two friends believe she may have been crying either from rejection or anger.
"you need to stop sleeping around, psycho bitches are gonna start stoping by all the time trying to suck your dick under the table without you even knowing." ashley rolled her eyes.
she may have been best friend with the blond, but that didn't mean she excused any of his actions. personally, she hated how he practically raised himself... treating men and women like toys he could easily throw away, forgetting that feelings were a complicated thing that existed... and who knew better than ashley?
"i know ash, i know." josh sighed, leaning back in his chair and looking down at his hands.
"no you don't know. listen joshua, i love you, but you have got to stop... find someone to settle down with or something, because one day you're going to regret all your actions and loose someone important to you, just like i did." ashley murmured the ending, as it was a sad topic for her to think about.
but josh still heard it.
