"i hate you, i hope you know that." melanie said as she glared at the blond who had been pouring himself a glass of milk. her arms were crossed over his chest while her left hip was jutted out to the side.
josh rolled his eyes and sighed. "yes i see that you hate me but is it necessary for you to stand here telling me you hate me over and over again? what gain are you earning from this?" he asked the girl who wouldn't back away from the kitchen area.
"pissing you off... honestly josh, how do you live with yourself knowing it's the same pattern over and over again? don't you get tired of playing around with people and treating the ones you love like shit while overly intoxicated?" she asked, brown eyes staring at the side of joshua's head, only leaving to glance at jihoon who jumped onto the kitchen counter and also started staring at the blond.
it became known to josh that the little kitten did not like him the slightest which was weird being that he was a cat person.
every time the boy would get to close to tyler when jihoon was around, he'd bring his claws out and hiss while standing protectively around him. every time joshua would say something the sphynx would stare at him with this face of what appeared to be annoyance even though he was just a cat. he would also let out high pitched meows when the blond would do something as simple as move to another location.
to josh, it was quite obvious the cat didn't like him.
"it's not like that melanie, i don't play with anyone! they all should know they're nothing but one night stands and nothing more, and who the hell do i hurt when i'm drunk or high?" he asked with a face full of confusion once he put away the milk gallon and started drinking from the glass. he had a few oreos out beside him that he dunked into the milk as he continued talking.
"it doesn't matter that they're one night stands that's still technically not okay! plus you're not even in the right state of mind to have sex because your judgment is cloudy! you may not know it but your actions hurt people, not physically but emotionally and if you're to dumb to fucking realize that then you need to reevaluate your life because trust me buddy... the life your living is not fun and all it does is hurt the people who loves you." melanie said, her voice getting louder as she got closer to the end of the sentence. her chest was slightly heaving as she shook her head and walked away back into tyler's room.
jihoon meowed and followed behind her just to cut in front of her and paw at the door of the room where tyler had been sleeping peacefully and calmly.
once the door was open the hairless cat cuddled up next to tyler's side while melanie looked at the boy was staring out of the window watching the clouds roll by, pointing out all the ones that looked like figures in his head.
he could hear everything melanie said by the loudness of her voice and knew that she was right but didn't want to admit it to himself. he loved joshua, always have since he was younger but things were slowly getting out of control. the blond had been making more irrational judgments at parties while he was alone causing the brunet to be insanely worried about him whenever he left.
the problem was that tyler cared too much while josh didn't care enough.
