he hid his sorrows and despair with drink after drink. his narrow minded mind keeping him from seeing the beauty that stood in front of him with open arms. a beauty with smooth blemish-free skin, painted an enticing tan color, accenting the clothes that hugged his hips, and covered his chest in such a heavenly way.
his habits had caused him to completely ignore the signs that were clearly there, which caused the people around him to look at him with nothing but pity in their eyes.
however lately, a strong feeling of resentment filled his chest at the thought of someone close to him, hanging around another person that wasn't him. jealously was the proper word to explain how he was feeling; but he'd never truly admit that.
the girl he came with, smiled as she spoke to another friend of theirs. sipping on her alcoholic beverage while subtly checking on the male being hit on at the bar... just checking to make sure no funny business was going down.
so as another drink was prepared for him, the loud sound of your typical clubbing music blaring through the speakers, and the random female that had been attempting to capture his attention continued to talk in his left ear, he sat in front of the bar with nothing but an unknown feeling he wished to get rid of with alcohol and one night stands.
doing things that would only make the feeling in his chest worse.
