joshua was beyond drunk as he stumbled into the home, awaking the brunet who accidentally fallen asleep on the couch while watching random shows that played on the station melanie had put it on before she left.

lazily the boy rubbed at his eyes and let out a yawn before peering out from over the couch, pouting at the boy who was shushing another male this time.

tyler wasn't going to cry, he didn't feel as if he needed to, and he didn't want to.

crying was a sign of weakness and humanity. it could show your vulnerability yet tell you that you're human and it's natural, which it was, but it still could make you appear weak.

tyler wasn't weak... or at least he tried not to be.

"you're gonna wake up my roommate." josh said with a chuckle before the other boy kissed him.

it did hurt, it really did but tyler chose to ignore it and instead turned onto his side to face the television again. another late night episode of spongebob came on earning the boy's attention as he watched.

attempting to tune out the low conversation happening behind him.

when he heard the door shut, he let out a sigh and moved to place a pillow on top of his head to help block out the noise, but he also turned the episode up so that he could actually make out what the characters were saying.

he was hurt by joshua's actions, he really was... but he feels like this pain he felt was long overdue. lately josh hasn't been going out and getting drunk, instead he's been going to work, coming home, cooking dinner for himself and tyler, or just simply relaxing at home.

but those nice little moments obviously were over.

closing his eyes and moving further back into the couch, tyler closed his eyes and slowly drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

unedited.
