~Lexis P.O.V.~
Sitting here at the end of my table, the trap was empty. There weren't any footsteps lurking around, keeping watch for any threats. Not a trace of weed in the air or gin droplets on the tables from round after round of a good game of cards. Even the trap dogs laid silent in their pen as I sat here under the one light that remained on, thinking about what has become of my legacy and the way these streets have a new outlook on my empire.
Maybe I should have ran this gang as brutal as Rommel did, not take a softer logical approach to the way we ran things? Then again if I had, I'd likely had gone through a billion slaughtered members before ever seeing this empire worth its first billion dollars. That speaks volumes to me as to how efficient I've kept this empire focused on the money and not the casualties.
My biggest concern is the legacy I leave behind and how they will manage to keep this going. I've got DeShawn who wants nothing with this empire as he's focused on his own life outside of this game. He's made his decision loud and clear, which I respect whole heartedly and would never force him into this. Trey on the other hand has been my wild card, one moment he shows he can handle this and then the next he's trying to become the next Rommel, trying to get his own advances which will end up getting him killed. Tyreese has my mentality which shows me promise but he lacks the leadership that he needs, I'm just glad he doesn't have the drive to kill and conquer but to sell and build up the wealth. Ivanna shows she's more ready than Trey, she reminds me of Sweet Cheeks with a calm disposition and acts when she needs to act, not just because she has the option to act. She also is good with money, counting it, banding it, and loves to hang out around us all at the trap. Just watching as we go about what we need to do. Lexis Junior is my best bet for the next one to be the ideal blend of Arlie and Varo, this is a kid who'll be the backbone to this empire and that makes me proud. He's quick to think and when he does, he executes everything and anything through any means necessary.
As these kids grow older, they learn more and the more they know about this empire the more vulnerable they are to others out there. They'll want these kids because they're next in line- well one is just no one knows who and that's what's driving these streets mad with angst. The anticipation of wondering who will run a multibillion dollar empire when I step down. With that at stake, I worry constantly about my five, I can at least keep an eye on the two younger one but the three older ones need to watch themselves and who they choose to associate with.
Looking down at the rough draft of my will, the pen in my hand I had the difficult decision who deciding who will ultimately take over my spot. I'll need a minute to really sit and think about this but I have a gut feeling of who it should be. My decision better not tear the kids apart or that can safely be marked as the pinnacle of the end of IRG. It's a scary thought but a reality.

For the first time in a long ass time, I actually took a seat on the curb of the sidewalk. It was warm as the devil's furnace on pre heat but I oddly liked it. This the type of weather you set up the cardboard box and start throwing dice, placing them bets and cracking open cold ones while you talk shit about the neighborhood whores and fuckniggas... well I talk shit about everyone so fuck.
Sitting here, I was starting to get real hot and pulled off the shirt. Well the shirt kinda got caught on my head so I struggled a bit but now I'm good. I feel free and shit and as a sixteen year old, I've just been doing the most with my life which is crazy.
