~August P.O.V.~

I woke up with a terrible ass headache, which is odd considering I was straight last night but I know I was supposed to go to Trina's to link up with all of them who were there, think it was Breezy, LJ, Trey and her? I was gonna go but once I got laid up in bed after eating... it was a done deal.

I heard the front screen door open, a few footsteps echo their way up to my room and then it falling closed. I don't know who that is and I'm still waking up so I'm disoriented as all hell. Just gonna slide my legs out first, give my back a good stretch and now to stand up without falling. Grabbing my phone off my pillow, I saw I had a few texts from Paris I didn't respond to last night because my itis got the best of me... I'll get to those after I get a Tylenol.

"August where you at?" I heard call out from what sounds like the kitchen?

"Hell nah out of the kitchen, food is mine." I called back to them as I hauled the rest of my ass down the stairs to the kitchen. "Oh its just you, Ty. Thought it was one of my cousins, they stay going ham in my kitchen. What's good?" I reached out to dap him and damn its felt like forever since he and I kicked it. As best friends we gotta do better because we're slacking.

"Woke up to the sight of Tilly Beans jogging down my block- I'm guessing on her way to Uncle Varo's based on the direction- and that made my entire week."

"God damn, you and her ass. We needa find you a mini her so you'll leave her alone."

"I did find one, remember my friend Chastity? She reminds me so much of Tilly Beans but she already got herself a nigga down in Riverside. I ain't trippin' on findin' a female, but Tilly Beans still has my heart and attention. I need it to be a holiday already, sneak off with her just one more time is all I ask." He said with a laugh as I reached into my cupboard to grab the bottle of Tylenol- oh shit I got Ibuprofen? Let me pop two of those instead. "What'chu doing today though?"

"I remember Chastity. Met her one time but then she moved right?" He nodded. "But the holidays are comin' up and I can't wait to all get together for those. Anyways, today I was just gonna hang at my trap. I think I'm gonna give up with WTE and just leave it alone." I came into the game with a determined mind but with just the four of us, there's no way we can climb up and hold our own. Not to mention I don't have it in me to run anything near the size of these gangs that are at the top and I don't wanna always be hiding behind IRG or NBG's shadows.

"I say shut it down and come back to IRG where you know you set for life. WTE ain't even officially on the map because you know if it was, your ass would be murked so fast. I can't say for your cousins but you know you always apart of IRG." He said and he has a point, so you know what...

"Fuck it, WTE's done and I'm never touching it again. Some other niggas can fuck with the white bandana." Now I'm left feeling like a dumbass for giving up all I did for this just to quit... I'ma blame it on I was young, dumb, bored and thought I would be farther than I am so oh well. I gave it a shot but it was a decision that led me to a dead end. Lesson learned and I'm gonna try to reconnect with my family... I'ma look like a puppy dog with its tail between its legs when I go back to the East Coast and admit I failed. July gonna have a field day with that and I'll never hear the end of it but I'm a nigga who will swallow his pride and admit when I ain't succeed. "I'm gonna get changed and then I'm headin' out, you comin' with?"

"Yeah I'll come with. I'm stayin' away from IRG's trap till everyone calms down. By everyone I mean Trey, like it ain't that serious bruh."

"You know how he is." I replied as I made my way back up the stairs- I'm tired of these stairs. When I said yes to this house, I was hype 'cause thats two whole stories of house just for me but these stairs bruh. I needa get like Varo and make quick escapes all over the house to get from one spot to another without much effort. I just realized his place like a giant fun house for kids, one hole takes you somewhere, jump through another, pull back a picture frame and there's another hole- that's lit. That's why he pops up everywhere but then again you gotta be able to pull yourself up through some of those holes- I'm getting side tracked as fuck, let me get dressed without anymore distractions.
