~Breezy P.O.V.~
Coming down the stairs, I had a pain in my neck that bothered the hell out of me, same with my leg but if I go slow enough I can avoid crutches. I heard Vonnie in the kitchen, sounded like she was putting away dishes and when I got to the bottom of the stairs, peering in to the kitchen, my guess was right. Damn I'm good, learning all her habits even though I clearly heard the dishes being pulled off the rack in the dishwasher... still know her, so we just gonna ignore the obvious the whole sound of the dishes and base it solely on me knowing her habits.
"Someone lookin' like a whole three course meal and dessert." I said to make my presence known and she turned around with that beautiful smile on her face. "Yeah, that's right you know who I'm talkin' about." Embracing her in a warm hug, I got a big sniff of her shampoo and that shit smells way too fucking good. Her skin was so soft too- she just one big walking orgasm for all my senses, God damn. I don't know how I got as lucky as I did but I'm not gonna question it because she can still leave at any time and I don't want that happening. We've come along way in our relationship and we only need to keep moving forward.
"You look better today. You need your crutches though, so stop trying to walk around without them." Way to ruin the sensational moment. "How are you feeling? Is it already time for more meds?"
"I'm feelin' sore but I'm fine, no meds. I got Nitty coming over today so we can talk business. Where's Trey at?" Usually he's down here if the door to his room is open but I don't see him anywhere. I needed to take a seat at the table, my leg can only handle so much at a time and I ain't tryna over do it.
"He left for the day along with Breezon so it's just us here. I called in sick to work." Oh did you now? I like the sound of that. I pulled her down onto my lap and snaked my arms around her waist, resting my chin on her shoulder next to her ear. "I hope he's doing alright, I would hate to learn he was going back to drugs."
"I hope not either. He mention anything to you today?" She nodded. "Oh shit, what he say?" Trey will always be my brother, I told him that from day one and I will stick by that. I've already told him what he did was fucked up and a bad judgment call on his part but that doesn't change the fact we're family. If IRG shuns him out for some time, I don't fucking care, I'll give him a roof over his head, food on his plate, money in his wallet and even the clothes on my back if I need to. I did that for Vanessa- till that shit went south real fast- and I'd do that to anyone else I care about in this family.
"He finally came to realization. I mean he truly understands the situation, accepts responsibility and the consequences, so now he wants to start the process of resolution and forgiveness. Do you think he'll ever be allowed back into IRG after this?" She brushed me off her shoulder and carefully turned herself around on my lap, wrapping an arm around my neck.
"Thank God he reached realization, that's a step in the right direction. I don't know how their dynamics work for all that shit. I know in NBG when that happens, they get shot dead on the spot and we move the fuck on but y'know, this is a little different of a situation." I'm actually wrong. I remember what I did to Christian, I take back what I said. I wasn't shot dead for- wait though, at that time NBG was already mine- I'm digging too much into this. Let me fuckin stop- Y'know what, I don't want a P.O.V right now, I wanna be left alone with Vonnie. No one gonna miss me if I skip a P.O.V. onto the next one.... mo' fish in the sea, girls are like buses- fuck that shit still catchy, let me really stop now.

"Ain't living in that house hell for you at times?" Uncle Arlie asked me as he walked out of the house onto the porch. He was too calm for the likes of this house, that's how you become a prime target for Dad, ask Uncle Chewy and he'll tell you. I think Uncle Chewy is seeing a therapist now because of Dad... I feel bad but at the same time Uncle Chewy should know to not have his guard down, especially since he lives right across the street.
