"Okay, Katsumi. Calm down. What do I do?" I said to myself as people started to place their bids on me.

"Ugh, don't they realize I'm sixteen?"

I understand why people would want to buy me; I'm awesome as hell. But still...

Tears fill my eyes.

No, wait, I have a Shiba Inu to take care of... Ryosuke...

I sniffed, and for some reason that made the bids go up.

Sadists.

"SOLD TO BIDDER 100 FOR 21 MILLION YEN!"

Oh, sweet Jebus.

I fainted because holy sheet that's a lotta yen.

4 HOURS EARLIER

"Mizu! Ume! I can't believe this is our room!"

"And mine." Said a small, high pitched voice.

"Saki! How could I forget about the prettiest lady in year two?"

Mizu and Ume rolled their eyes.

"Anyway, you get an amazing view of Tokyo. It's hard to believe this is my first time. All the lights are beautiful. Tomorrow's a free day, right?"

"Yup. Then after tomorrow is the trip to the museum. It'll be quite the educational experience." Said Ume.

"Screw that! I gotta get as much time as I can at Meiji Jingu Stadium tomorrow so I have something to think about on that boring trip. Uncle's a huge baseball fan, so I gotta get lots of pictures of him."

"What are you doing on your off day, Saki?"

"Probably some shopping in Akihabara. What about you, Ume?"

"Tutoring with Mr. Sera. Speaking of that, I have it tonight as well."

"Tutoring" is what we called it when she and Mr. Sera would be getting it on or going on a date. But Saki didn't need to know that.

"But don't you have the best grades in our year?"

"I'm useless at English, the only reason I'm not flunking it is because of Mr. Sera. Anyway, it's 19:30, I have to go." She explained to Saki.

"See you later, Ume!"

"So, what are your plans, Kat?" Asked Mizu.

"I don't know. Probably eat at Denny's and go to a shrine. Flirt with the locals a bit. I hear the girls in Tokyo wear short skirts. And the guys are fine, as well."

"Don't you have a boyfriend, Keima Katagiri? He's like, 32."

"Wait, I thought you were with Toya Kashi, the pastry guy in his late 20s."

"Uh, I broke up with both. Keima has a gambling problem and almost sold me, and Toya has severe anger issues and tried to freakin' punch me in the face when I wouldn't accept his marriage proposal."

"You have the worst taste in men."

"Don't I know it. Hey, I'm going to go explore. Be back in a bit. If I'm not back tonight, don't worry, I'm probably in someone else's room."

"Classic Katsumi Kobayashi."
