KATSUMI POV
... Kanako.
She held her umbrella over my head, "wanna talk about it?"
I didn't, but it's Kanako so I nodded.
Kana sat beside me, still holding the umbrella, and put her free hand around my shoulder.
"So what was that all about?"
I sighed, "I don't know, I was just so angry. I'm not going to lie, though, I really hate Baba."
she chuckled, "Yeah, I did too when I got back in touch with him. Did you know his very back tooth on the left is a fake? I punched him so hard that I ended up knocking one of his teeth out. Heh, it still makes laugh to think about it. Anyways, I understand where your anger is coming from. I'd be surprised if you weren't angry. And because of that, I won't force you to come back to the Tres Spades."
I looked at her in shock, "You won't?"
"Nah, make your own choice. You wanna come back, I'll take you. If you don't, I'll pay for a train ticket anywhere you wanna go and say I just couldn't find you. But you gotta decide now."
I gazed at her in disbelief, but I could tell she wasn't lying.
I let out a deep breath.
I knew what I had to do.
I didn't like it, but I knew in all reality I had no choice.
"Take me back."
Kana smiled when she heard my words.
She helped me up and I linked arms with her, "Well then, let's go, " she said.
...
"I don't wanna do this, I change my mind. I heard Oma is very nice this time of year..."
"I'm not taking you to the tip of Japan. You chose your path, now walk it." She literally dragged me into the elevator.
I groaned as the door closed, "I'm not going to apologize," I told Kanako.
"I know."
...
YUI POV
DING
The elevator door opened and the two girls came in.
Katsumi looked up from the floor, I could tell she was scared, but she put on a brave face of pure pride and a little bit of arrogance.
"If you guys think I'm going to apologize, you are dead wrong."
"I know," I said with a sigh.
"Now wait a minute," Baba turned to Katsumi, "you need to say sorry to your mother. What you did was rude and disrespectful. She's your mother."
"I'm not an idiot. I know she's my mother. But I can still dislike her. I don't hate her," well thats a relief, "in fact, currently, I'm a little bit grateful. I mean, all the offense Baba, but you're a total dumbass."
The room went silent, "well she's not wrong..." said Soryu.
"Not the right time, Boss."
