Why did you lie?
We were on cloud nine.

^William above 🔥🔥🔥 ^

"Eleanor" I said, looking at my new friend.

She looked over the center console as William drove. "Yes?" She said, a knowing grin on her face.

"Your house is beautiful" I gasped as William drove up to a locked gate.

He pressed a button on his steering wheel and the gate jutted open. "Thank you, except it's not my house, its my parents" she replied, joking.

I rolled my house. "I feel so under dressed and small" I said.

William chuckled. "Well our picky parents aren't home so you're safe" William said, sending me a wink through the rear view mirror.

I rolled my eyes. The car pulled to a stop and I grabbed my bag, climbing out. "Will! Can I drive it around back?" Eleanor asked, getting out as well.

William stared at his sister. "Aren't you going to show Jamie around?" he asked.

"I thought she was your new friend?" she asked, a sly smirk on her face.

William surrendered his car keys to Eleanor's awaiting hands. She climbed into the drivers seat with a squeal. She slammed the door and drove off. "Come on, I'll show you around the house" he said.

He walked in front of me and led me up the marble stairs to their grand oak doors. "You know what surprises me about you Jamie" he said, opening the doors and leading me through the doors.

"Uh no?" I said, confused.

"You're so down to earth and you don't try to be anyone else" he said, looking back at me.

He was smiling, the type of smile that made your heart stop. In fact, it did. I was never into the popular boys but the way he smiled at me.. it made me feel like I was the only girl in the world. "Why be someone w-when you can b-be you and rock it?" I stuttered

We arrived at what only could be described as a gold plated foyer. "My mother is a secret interior designer" he said chuckling.

"She does a wonderful job, wow!" I exclaimed touching a gold flower.

"Follow me, I'll show you my sisters room"He said, heading for the center stairs.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and followed him. The stairs were made out of marble and my converses slipped a little.

The hallway was just as grand, marble walls with family photos hanging in frames. "Wow" I said, glancing at a young William and Eleanor.

William had stopped and walked back to my side. "It's my father's favourite photo, says we look like real twins even though we were born 18 months apart" He said grinning.

"You must really love your sister" I said.

"Yeah of course I do, unless she does stuff like that" he said, taking a few steps and pointed out the window.

I stood next to him and watched as Eleanor appeared around the back and she drifted into a muddy patch. "But yet somehow, I still give the keys to her when I know I'll be washing it later" he said, his face full of love.

"I wish I had a brother or a sister" I said, biting my lip. .

William turned his head to look at me. "Your an only child?" He asked.
