Better shut your mouth pretty girl
It was impossible to escape his grip.
I tried pulling my wrist but it didn't work, so I just hobbled along behind him. He locked my wrists back to the bed and pulled out the sticky tape. "Gotta make sure Hunter can't hear you" he said, a wicked grin on his face.
I kicked at him and I eventually hit his knee. He scowled coming closer still. I did the only thing I knew how to do well.
I screamed.
He placed the tape over my mouth, cutting my scream off but I knew Hunter heard me. My scream was that loud.
I remember one day; years and years ago, Hunter and I were having a tickling fight and I had screamed. Hunter was deaf in the left side of his ear for days. I never really apologised for it.
A hand smacked across my face and my head swung to the side because of the force. "Stupid Bîtch" he snarled.
But my scream has done it's job. Hunter barreled into the room with Eleanor and William hot on his heels.
Wait up, back up. How the hell did they get here?
Hunter grabbed the back of Ashton's shirt, pulling him back just like he did with Jacob weeks ago. William fumbled with my restraints while Eleanor was helping Hunter. Eleanor threw something to William and I felt the cuffs unlock.
I rubbed my wrists before pulling the tape off my mouth. Blue and red lights were filling up the room, as Eleanor kneed Ashton in the groin.
I heard shouting and the next thing I knew, Police Officers were filling up the room. Ashton fought against Hunter's chest but he had him in a unbreakable hold.
Officers were putting his hands into cuffs and I stood next to William, watching it all.
I couldn't quite believe my eyes. How had the police get here so fast?
What were Eleanor and William doing here?Questions zoomed through my mind as I walked behind Ashton. He was being dragged to the police car. I felt a hand grab mine and I turned around.
Eleanor pulled me into a hug, squeezing all the air out of me. "J!" She exclaimed.
She held me for what seemed minutes before she finally let me go. "I was so worried!" She said pulling back.
She gripped my chin, looking over me for damage. "I'm fine" I said batting her off.
"William and I just arrived when we heard you scream, Hunter was already sprinting to the house" she exclaimed, pulling me into another hug.
"How did you guys know I was here?" I asked.
"Hunter gave us directions said he needed back up, apparently he also called the police" she said, muffled against my shoulder.
She pulled away for a second time when William sidled up beside her. I threw my arms around him. "Thank you for coming" I said.
He patted my back awkwardly. "It's okay, you would've done the same for me if not worse" he said, pulling back.
I squeezed him again before turning my head to look for Hunter. He was leaning against the brick wall, his eyes on us.
His face was unreadable. Our eyes met and he lowered his head before turning and walking towards his car. "Go" Ellie said softly.
I nodded and retracted from Will. I followed him. "Hunter, where are you going?" I asked.
