Kiss me
Tell me how you really feel

Hunter's POV

I stared at my blank ceiling. Rain was still falling outside and thunder boomed. I managed to get myself home before the real thunderstorm took place.

My lights flicked as another boom shook overhead. "Houston, do you copy?" Filled my room.

I sat up quickly. I glanced out my window to look at Jamie's room and light filtered through the curtains. "Houston?" Her voice said again.

I stood up and walked over to my study desk. I picked up the radio. "Go ahead Shadow Wolf" I replied.

Another boom shook the house. My lights flicked off. Great.

"When did Thor become such an asshole, over?" her voice said.

I bit back the smile that threatened to appear. "I believe it could be because he missed out in Civil War, over" I replied.

I felt around in the dark to my door handle. I opened the door and continued the hall. I had the radio in my hand.

"That's not even funny" her voice came through suddenly.

I jumped. "Hunter!" Piper's voice yelled.

I turned around. "Yea?" I asked.

"I can't see" she replied.

Duh. Join the club.

"Just stay in your room Pip" I replied.

I heard her scoff. "Hunter?" Jamie's voice asked.

Despite our altercation last night, she still wanted to talk to me. I remember turning around in the rain after she explained why it hurt so much.

She looked so scared and lonely.

"The truth is however much I want you, William is still there in your life"
That's what I said to her.

I remembered walking away from her because all I wanted to do was go to her. I wanted to kiss those lips.

It was true. I wanted her. I had wanted her ever since I was 14. She grew up so fast and become a beautiful woman.

Despite, her brothers death, her father's cheating and my abandonment, she still looked so beautiful.

She had been standing in the rain, wearing a red dress, telling me the truth about how she had felt.

"I'm here" I radioed back.

"I want to talk to you" her voice came back through quickly.

"I don't really think there's anything else to talk about" I replied.

"Yes there is" she replied.

If I closed my eyes now, I could see her laying back on her bed. Sheets tangled around her because she loved to be cocooned, her eyes would be shut as she talked to me.
