Buried deep inside.

Hunter's POV

The sun shone in my face as my alarm went off for the second time that morning.
What?
I had an alarm every 5 minutes to keep myself awake.

I stood up stretching. I couldn't resist the smile that crossed my face.

Yesterday was like a dream and I was hoping I'd never have to wake up. I dressed quickly and made my way downstairs.

I had thought about it all night, laying there in the dark. I remembered how soft her skin had felt and the way she kissed me back.

Than I decided, I was going to do it. I was going to do it right in front of everyone. I'd probably embarrass her and most likely make her mad but I'd know I've done everything I could to win her over.

I had told her how I felt, I explained the truth to her. "Move it" Piper's voice snapped, cutting through my thoughts.

I leant to the side as she rushed past me, jumping off the last step of the stairs. I followed her and trudged into the kitchen. My mother was eating toast and looked up when we walked in.

"Well well, the dead do walk" she said checking her watch.

I kept silent and put on some toast. "And this zombie is silent" she added.

I turned around and she cocked one eyebrow at her. "You're not normally this silent? Are you okay?" My mother asked.

"I'm fine mum" I replied.

I could physically see her relax. "How was your day at school yesterday?" She asked, looking back down at the phone in her hand.

"You and I both know I skipped half of it" I replied.

Her fingers tapped the screen. "Yes, though I thought it best not to bring it up at dinner, why did you skip school?" She asked, turning her phone off and looking back at me.

"I needed air" was all I said as my toast popped.

I buttered it and stuck the end into my mouth, biting it. "And you couldn't just step outside?" My mother asked, disbelief written on her face.

"No mum, I needed to get out of there, I was feeling crowded and I felt like I was going to kill someone" I said.

My mother hummed before standing up. "Make sure you don't skip today hun, you have to drive Piper home" she said.
