Chapter 2:Discovery

Peter looked at his mother terrified waiting for an answer. Natasha could not find any thing to say. As a mother this terrified her due to her not having any knowledge of how to help her child in his time of panic and fear. Peter quickly jumped from the ceiling to the floor of his bedroom and looked at his hands. Peter then looked at his mother and spoke. "Mom. What's going on?! What's happening to me?!". Natasha then gained a serious look on her face as she placed her hands on peter's shoulders. She looked at her son and then spoke to in her strict motherly tone. "Peter go to the garage. We're going to see a person that might help us understand what's going on". Peter looked at his mother before following her orders and heading towards the garage. As peter opened the door to the garage he accidentally broke off the door knob as Natasha was starting to enter with him. He quickly let go of the knob and got into the car as Natasha unlocked it.

Once the garage door had opened Natasha went on full drive as she sped out the garage. During the car ride, Peter kept looking at his hands wondering if something was wrong with him and who was the person that was going to help him. He soon snapped out it when he felt Natasha place her hand on his shoulder. Natasha then spoke to her son as she slowed down the car. "Peter we're here". Peter quickly looked up to see the huge building in front of them as he knew it was the avenger's headquarters Avenger's tower. The two then got out of the car and headed into the building with Peter looking around with amazement in his eyes.

The mother and son then got into the elevator and headed up to the lounge area of the tower. Natasha gained a look of irritation as she seem to be looking for someone. Peter looked at his mother with a curious expression on his face before he spoke to her. "Mom who are we looking for exactly? Is it one of your Avenger friends?". Natasha then looked at her son and answered his question. "Yes" she looked as if the person she was talking about was in a whole lot of trouble "Just sit on the couch Peter, i'll be right back". Peter looked at his  mother as he just nodded and sat down on the couch as she started to walk towards the hallway.

Peter sat there and looked at his fingers wondering if he was a so called mutant as he heard many people call those with superpowers that have been encoded into their DNA through a special gene within their body. "Hello there young man" Peter quickly jumped from the couch and looked around surprised that someone else was there with him. Peter looked around confused before speaking. "Hello. Who's there? Who are you? Actually, where are you?" The mysterious voice spoke again with an irish accent and answered Peter's question. "I am F.R.I.D.A.Y. , Tony Stark's interface that helps around the tower. And who might you be?" Peter was surprised by this and then answered F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s question. "I'm Peter Romanoff". Peter stood their waiting for an answer, but jumped when he heard someone from the balcony speak. "Romanoff, aye? Didn't know Widow had a son. I thought she couldn't either because of the red room program". The source of the voice then revealed himself to be Peter's hero the one and the only Tony Stark.

Peter stood there in amazement. He had heard some stories about Stark from his mother who had called Stark arrogant and a womanizer who acted like a four year old of course Peter was only eight at that time and he did know what a womanizer was and how Stark tried to have his mother go on a date with him. He mostly remembers the fight that Stark had with the super villain Whiplash in Monaco and how he was in the crowd during the grand Prix to see the battle start. Natasha of course made sure that he was okay after she had seen the damage that was left from Whiplash and the battle with Iron Man on Tv and rushed over as fast as she could to get him out of any danger. The best thing he has heard about Tony Stark from his mother was how he was willing to sacrifice himself during the battle of new york in order to save many lives. This showed how he was not just some billionaire playboy, but a man with a great heart who wants to protect people.
