Chapter 34: Good bye my brother

Peter stood their in shock as Ben fell to the ground. He had managed to kill Kaine and save Peter. Peter ran over to him as he tried his best to stop the blood flowing out of Ben's chest. Ben smiled at this as he spoke to the teen."It's okay. I did it. We did it together. Brother". Peter stared at him as he picked Ben up gently as tears formed in his eyes."Yeah we did. I can still get you to the compound and Mr.Stark or Vision can help you. Come on Ben we can make it their just hold on. Please". Ben chuckled at this as he grabbed Peter's hand. He smiled at him and spoke as Jessica and Natasha made their way towards them."It's too late for me,Peter. I was never the original spider man. You are. And the city still needs you". He then looked at Natasha and Jessica as both of them started to cry."Mother,sister. I'm sorry for what i said to you two. Now Karma has come for me. Please forgive me". The two nodded at this as Ben started to go limp. He then looked at Peter and smiled."Peter please keep helping people as Spider man. And remember with great power,comes great responsibility". Ben went limp as his body started to become nothing more than dust. Peter tried his best to grab the dust as he screamed for his brother."BBBBBEEEEENNNNN!!". The three started to cry as Peter and Jessica mourned the loss of their brother and Natasha the loss of an allie and son. Peter then stood up as he walked over to the machine that was used to make the clones and smashed it angrily destroying it in an instant. Natasha wiped the tears away as the other avengers contacted her as they said that they defeated spidercide and to regroup at the compound. Peter picked up Ben's mask as he,his mother,and jessica left the building.

Once they had returned to the compound,Peter had told the avengers what had happened and Ben's sacrifice. They quickly placed Ben's mask in a container as they laid it on the ground. Peter looked at the case and spoke."Ben was a real hero. Now may god rest his soul for today we say goodbye to my brother". The avengers then placed the casket into the ground outside the gates of the compound. Later that night Peter sat in his room as his sister went back to her apartment. He layed in his bed as he regretted what he had done to Ben when they first met and wished that he did not do it. He then heard a knock on his door and went to open it. He opened his door to see his mother standing their. He looked at her as she spoke."Hey kiddo,want to talk". Peter nodded at her as they both walked over to his bed. Peter looked at his mother as she hugged him. He then spoke to her."I wish he was here mom". Natasha looked at her son as she spoke to him."You mean ben. He died a hero,sweetheart". Peter nodded at this as he still wanted his clone brother to be with them."I'll follow his words and last wishes. I will still be spider man and protect the people of new york". Natasha smiled at her son as she kissed his forehead and left his room as the teen went to bed. He knew that no matter what people would still need him. They would still need spider man.

Sorry if the chapter was a little short and depressing. This is mostly because i want to jump straight into the next chapter....(suddenly Joker is grabbed and gagged as a man wearing a red suit had started to tie him up). Peter quickly looked at the camera and yelled."Till then spider man fans and,oh yeah. Help!!!". The man in red gags and then throws Peter into the back room and closes the door and locking it as he spoke to the camera revealing to be the one and the only deadpool."Sorry about that. See you next chapter" he then walked over to Peter's desk and started to eat a chimichanga that was left on the desk and proceed to watch cartoons as Peterr
