Chapter 16: Venom

Eddie Brock walked the streets with a satisfied grin on his face. His eyes had became black after he had bonded with the symbiote.He felt a new surge of power in his body as he was ready to get his revenge on Peter. Suddenly a man with a knife walked up to Eddie and spoke."Give me your money pal. You don't want a knife to the face do you?". Eddie smiled sinisterly as he grabbed the man by the throat. The man gained a scared look on his face as he had begged Eddie to let him go. Eddie laughed at the man as he proceeded to slam the man to the ground hard causing the man to scream in pain and many people to stare at him. Eddie then walked away as a sinister smile formed on his face."Just you wait,Peter. You're going to get what's coming to you. We will make sure of that,personally".

At the compound,Peter had sat in the lab with Natasha,Tony, and Reed to make sure that their wasn't any bit of symbiote stuck to Peter. Peter had gotten board after a while waiting for the results. He was playing around with his fixed web shooters as he was making a small ball made of webs. He threw the ball up and it had gotten stuck onto the ceiling. Natasha looked at her son and snickered as Tony and Reed walked in with the results.  Tony saw Peter looked nervous as he looked up to the ceiling and saw the web ball. He ignored it due to the web only lasting for an hour and proceed to speak to the teen."Alright kid, you're clean of any symbiote traces,but just to be safe, Reed can you give it to him". Reed nodded as he handed the teen a vile of a purplish liquid. Reed then spoke as he explained to the teen what he had given him."It an antidote,just in case we missed anything". Peter took the veil and looked at the two scientist."So can i go now?". The two nodded as Tony spoke."Go ahead. By the way i updated two of your web shooter combinations. Now you have access to frost and heat webs and sound wave webs,just in case there's more than one symbiote". Peter shuddered at the idea of their being more than one symbiote as he left the lab with Natasha.

Peter had spent most of the day with his mother in the city. Natasha had mostly wanted to spend some quality time with Peter to help him get over what the symbiote had done to him and made him act.the two were currently at a resturant eating when Peter had looked at his mother as she had a worried expression on her face."Mom,are you okay?". Natasha looked at her son and spoke to him."It's nothing Peter,i'm just happy to have my baby boy back". Peter knew that his mother was lying,but didn't want to pressure her into telling him the truth. Peter suddenly felt his head hurt as he proceeded to grab his head. Natasha looked at him worried as she spoke."Peter,what's wrong?". Peter looked at her and then he looked out the window and saw Eddie their smiling. Suddenly Eddie transformed into Venom and destroyed the front of the restaurant. Venom rushed into the restaurant as Peter and Natasha helped other people out of the restaurant. Peter looked at Eddie with fear,knowing that the symbiote has found its new host and it wanted revenge for what he done to it. Peter and Natasha ran out of the restaurant as Venom was chasing them. Natasha quickly tried her best to contact the other avengers as Peter quickly shot out a spread web to slow Venom down. This did not work as Venom had managed to grab Peter by shooting out a black tentacle that wrapped around the teen and dragged him to the creature. Natasha instantly went full mama bear as she took out her batons and struck Venom hard as electricity was released into the creature's body causing it to drop Peter. Natasha quickly grabbed her son as she ran from the creature. She ran into an alley as she put Peter down. Peter quickly changed into his suit as he was ready to fight. Natasha looked at her son as she spoke with confusion."I thought you destroyed it". Peter looked at his mother as he quickly pieced together what had happened."The symbiote must have only been weakened. Now that it has bonded with Eddie,there's no telling what it can do now that it has a new host”. Suddenly Venom had appeared as he charged at the two.

Peter quickly grabbed his mother by her waist and shot out a web as they swung away and dodged the attack. Peter then remembered the web combinations and the antidote. He quickly landed on a building as he placed Natasha down with Venom following close. Peter looked at his mother and spoke."Mom, i have a plan, but i need you to get safety".Natasha looked at her son and protested ."No way young man. You are not fighting that thing by yourse...". Suddenly Venom had grabbed the woman by the neck as she struggled to breath. Peter looked at this and shouted in fear."No! Let her go Eddie! Now!". Venom just laughed as he tighten his grip on Natasha's throat. Venom looked at the teen as he spoke."We want you to feel the pain you have left us. We are the Venom born from your regret. Power we could have given you if you had let us bond permanently!". Peter instantly knew what he had to do. He dropped to his knees."I surrender myself to you symbiote. Just let go of my mother".Suddenly the symbiote responded by releasing Natasha and removing itself from Eddie. Eddie gained an angry look as the symbiote made its way to Peter."No! We had a deal!". The symbiote was about to attach itself to Peter when suddenly the teen fired a sound wave web around the symbiote. The symbiote shrieked as Peter then fired off a high degree heat web that had caused the symbiote to shriek even more. The symbiote started to evaporate and smoke as it became nothing more of smug. Eddie looked beyond angry as he charged at the teen screaming."You little bastard! You took away my power! You'll pay for that by me revealing who you really are!Ahhh!". Eddie had fallen to the ground unconscious as Natasha stood their with her batons as she had shocked Eddie. She looked at him angry and snarled at him."Don't you ever touch or talk to my son like that ever again!". Peter stood their as he just looked at Eddie."Eddie, you could have avoided this if you simply didn't want revenge. Now you're going to jail. I'm sorry". Peter had shot out a web as he wrapped eddie in one once the cops had arrived. The cops quickly arrested Eddie as he just yelled. Peter and Natasha started to head home as Peter looked at the floor. Natasha noticed this and then spoke to her son."Peter are you okay? Are you still wondering about Eddie?". Peter nodded at his mother's question as he looked at her."I wished i could have stopped him from becoming venom. For now i'm just glad that the symbiote is gone for good". Natasha smiled at her son as she ruffled his hair. The two then proceed to walk home. Meanwhile in a jailcell,Eddie stood their with anger as he was looking at pictures of Spider-Man. His eyes were still black and on his hand was a small bit of symbiote. Eddie just smiled sinisterly as he spoke to himself."Just you wait,Peter. We will come after you once we are fully reformed". Eddie just laughed as the lights in the jail cell had started to turn off.

Yup,venom will return in a future chapter and this time he won't be alone. Anyway next time on son of black widow. Peter,Natasha,Wanda,and Steve go on a mission that requires them to go undercover. Here they encounter two villains under the names of Chameleon and the Rhino. Will they be able to capture these villians. Find out next time on son of black widow. Till next time Spider man fans.
