Chapter 40: Shocker

(Peter here. Here's a bit of a recap of what happened last time. The symbiote had returned and fury had tried to recruit me for a new program. Me and this team fought the symbiotes and destroyed them. Week after that my friend cindy moon/silk(JazzyNerd) had helped me destroy the symbiote for good when it had tried to take me over again. Now i'm just happy that all of that is over and let's begin the chapter)

Peter had swung around the city as he was happy to be back in his suit(A month after the events of spider man homecoming). He had so much happen in the past month and had come up with new plans to made an avenger(so spoilers if you had not seen how homecoming ends). He had wanted to prove that he could be an avenger in different ways mostly to impress his mother and the rest of the team. He had swung back to the compound and had entered the front door as he made his way to the kitchen. He saw his mother there and smiled."Hey mom. Is Mr.Stark still mad about me not accepting the offer".Natasha smiled at her son as she ruffled his hair."hi sweetie. And yes,although i did not say he could give you the offer".Peter smiled at her."It's okay mom. I'm still gonna try to be an avenger,just in a different way with no one offering me a spot on the team. Just by me proving that i can be one by doing something good". Natasha smiled at her son. She had seen him completely change from a teen who was scared of being different to a hero who was willing to risk his life to save others. Natasha smiled at her son proudly as he was growing up to be a real hero.

Meanwhile in the streets of new york. Herman Schultz was walking around with his gear. He had an angry look on his face as he walked up to garage and opened. He walked into the garage and placed the gaulet like weapon on the tabel. He glared at the weapon as he took out tools to fix it."Dame! That Kid runied everything we worked for. Tombs might of failed to kill that Romanoff kid,then i guess i will have to kill him myself". Schultz smiled at this as he finished working of the gaulet and shot a blast of energy to the tabel. The next day Peter had sat on the edge of a rooftop bored out of his mind. He had stopped a few crimes and had helped out a few old ladies to cross the street. He sat their looking down at the street and then felt his phone buzz. He took it out and saw that it was Ned and answered the call."Hey Ned what's up?". Ned had responded to Peter's question."Dude did you find any big bad guys to fight yet?". Peter shook his head at this. Ever since Ned found out that he was Spider man he would always call him when he was out on patrol and with the school year being over the two had more time to work out on plans to make Peter an avenger. Even Mj had discovered that Peter was Spider man and was mad at him at first,but now is used to the idea of him swinging around from a web and climbing walls. The only two of his friends who did not know that he was Spider Man was Harry and Michelle. Peter then responded back to his friend's question."Nothing yet guy in the chair. So far only small crimes". Ned let out a groan."That sounds boring. So how is it being the son of Black Widow? Are you a highly trained killer too? Will you kill me if i tell anyone that your spider man?". Peter held back a laugh and spoke."It's cool and no i'm not a highly trained killer and i wouldn't kill my best friend for telling my secret, i would just smack you on the back of the head". Ned gave a nervous laugh at this statement as Peter just chuckled. Peter then felt his spider sense go off as he dodged a blast of purplish energy. Peter looked down and saw Schultz standing their in all geared up in a yellow jumpsuit and mask with black goggles."Ned remember that Schultz guy? The one who called himself the shocker. I'm about to fight him,gotta go". Peter quickly hung up the phone and shot a web at Shocker. Shocker quickly ripped the web off and shot another blast at Peter who dodged it with ease. Peter then kicked Shocker in the chest and kicked him off his feet. Shocker hit the ground and blasted Peter into a wall. Peter got up and groaned in pain."Okay that hurt. Karen(the ai system in the suit from homecoming) activate enhanced combat mode". Karen quickly responded."Activating enhanced combat mode. I recommend you use taser webs and rapid fire webs while fighting Schultz as well as trying to destroy that weapon he is using". Peter nodded as his suit glowed for a bit and he charged at Shocker. Shocker just laughed at this as he fired another blast at the teen."Now that you have that fancy costume you think you can beat me". Peter quickly dodged the blast and fired rapid fire webs at Shocker."Oh yeah. Who was the one who gotten by two teenagers. You. So beating you will be a piece of cake". Peter quickly punched Shocker as Shocker blocked the punch with his gauntlet.

Shocker sneered at this and quickly blasted Peter back with a burst of energy. Peter was blasted into a car as Shocker walked over to the teen."Now kid your gonna pay for ruining our buiness". He then fired another blast of energy at the teen slamming him into the ground. Peter groan in pain as he slowly got up and fired a web at Shocker."Karen activate taser webs now". The ai quickly responded to Peter's request by electrifying the webs and shocking Shocker. Peter quickly got up and kicked Shocker into a building. He then wrapped Shocker in webs as he heard police sirens. Peter quickly activated his drone and took a picture of Shocker in the webs and swung away as the police came and arrested Shocker. Peter landed on a building and smiled as he sent the photo to jj jameson."Now everyone from Tomb's crazy gang is in jail. Now time for me to get home". Peter then swung away as he was unaware that he was being watched by Madam Web as she had found the next member for the spider civil war.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I recently watched Spider man homecoming and i wanted to incorporate elements from the movie into my story. Anyway,next time on son of black widow. Peter meets Madame Web and is told about the war between the spiders as he is told that he is needed to join. Will he join or stay out of the war? Find out next time on son of black widow.
