In the bank downtown a robbery was taking place. The robbers were currently runnig out of the bank when suddenly a web was shot at one of them and dragged the man upside. The bank robbers looked up and saw a spider man wearing a blue hoodie,utility belt,and missing the web pattern on his suit leaving it to be a all red. One of the bank robbers looked at him with fear."Spider man? How come you got a new suit?". The so called spider man chuckled at this as he shot out two more webs at two of the robbers. He then quickly jumped from the building and punched and kicked the last remaining bank robbers. The spider man stood over them and and then spoke."My name is the scarlet spider. Never forget it". He then shot out a web and swung away as people were recording the whole thing.
Peter sat their in shock. Earlier today he was in the compound working on his suit and when he heard about this Scarlet spider from Ned,he knew he had to find out about it. Peter looked at it with disbelief as the avengers walked into the living room and saw the teen. Natasha saw the look on her son's face as he showed them the video. They all stood their speechless as Peter then broke the silence."Please tell me that this isn't real". Tony looked at his pupil and spoke."Kid it is real. Looks like you're not the only one with spider powers anymore". Peter crossed his arms at this as he also brought up a article on the Scarlet spider. Natasha looked at her son and spoke to him concerned."Peter,honey. Maybe this is just an android or a fan of yours". Peter shook his head no towards his mother."Yeah if it's a fan then how did he get spider powers". He then felt his phone buzz and saw a text from his Jessica. He read it as it said"Meet me at the park. We need to talk". Peter quickly said goodbye to his mother and the avengers as he grabbed his bag with his suit in it and headed out the door. Tony looked at the article on Scarlet spider with some suspicion.
Peter had made it to the park and saw Jessica waiting for him by the fountain. Peter walked up to his half sister and spoke."Hey sis,what's up". Jessica then showed Peter a picture of the Scarlet spider giving a bit of irritation. She saw the look on her brother's face and spoke."There's a new hero in town. Do you know anything about him?". Peter shook his head at her as he could not say that he was Spider man."Nope. He's just a wanna be spider man". Jessica noticed the way her brother had said this. She already knew that he was spider man because of shield's files. Jessica was about to speak when suddenly a spider creature had attacked them. Peter quickly grabbed his sister as people started to scream and run. The creature had chased the siblings as it growled and yelled at them."PARKER ROMANOFF!!DREW!!". The two siblings ran faster at this as the creature shot a web at them entangling them in a cocoon. The creature made it's way towards them as it bared it fangs ready to feast on the two,when suddenly the creature it knocked aside by the Scarlet spider.
Scarlet spider walked over to the siblings and ripped them free as he spoke to them."You two get out of here now". Peter grinded his teeth at this as he grabbed his sister and ran. He quickly slipped away as people were pushing them around as Jessica did the same. Peter quickly ran into an alley and changed into his suit as he got ready to fight. Peter quickly made his way to the creature and Scarlet spider as he was struggling with fighting the creature. Peter quickly kicked the creature as Scarlet spider got to his feet. Scarlet spider looked at Peter and spoke."Thanks. I was actually looking for you". Peter looked at him as was a bit confused and irritated by him."No problem.I have a problem with you though,but for now let's take this creep down". The two then charged at the creature as it got back up. Peter and Scarlet spider punched and kicked the creature as it then grabbed Peter by the throat. Peter struggled to breath as the creature had hit Scarlet spider into the fountain. Suddenly the creature screamed in pain as a spider woman had hit it.

The creature dropped Peter as the spider woman punched the creature and yelled at it."Don't you dare hurt my brother!!". She then grabbed Peter and moved him next to Scarlet spider.Peter looked at her as he instantly knew who she was."Jess?". The spider woman nodded as Peter spoke confused."But,how?". Jessica looked at her brother and quickly got into a fighting stance as the creature got up."I'll explain later bro. Right now let's show this guy not to mess with the spiders". The two quickly charged at the creature as Scarlet spider joined them to fight. The three had punched and kicked the creature as they would easily dodge the fangs and venom of the creature. The three then punched the creature with all their strength as it fell to the ground hard. The three spiders then walked over to the creature as it started to turn into nothing more than acid. The two siblings both looked at the creature with disgust as Scarlet spider walked away."Eww". They then noticed Scarlet spider swing away and they quickly followed him as people had recorded the whole thing.
The three landed on a rooftop where the two siblings took off their masks as Scarlet spider just stared at them. Peter looked at him and spoke angrily."Okay your turn to explain how you got your powers,then it's your turn sis". The two nodded as Scarlet spider took off his mask as the two siblings stood their in shock. He looked like an older version of Peter with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Scarlet spider then spoke."My name is Ben Reilly. I was made with these powers in order to be better than you" he pointed at Peter as Jessica got into a defensive stance to protect her half brother"To be a more improved Spider man. Better than Peter Benjamin Parker Romanoff". Peter stood their in shock as he did not know what was to come next. To be continued.....
Author's notes: Ben reilly has finally made his appearance officially and his reason to be created was revealed as the clone saga begins.I was also able to find internet connection in the place i was staying so i will be able to upload some more chapters. Anyway,next time on son of black widow. Ben reveals more about his creation and Jessica reveals how she had gotten her powers. Peter also gets the avengers involved as more masked people with spider powers start to appear. What is the reason for this phenomenon?. Find out next time on son of black widow.
