Chapter 28: Unkown Sister

A week has passed since Peter and Parker had teamed up to fight Carnage and Veno(more info on that in iamnerdandgeek's spider man season 2 story),and over all everything became boring after that event. Peter had went back to school and not that much crime had happened over the week. He had only stopped bank robberies,carjackings,and in one case grand theft bicycle. Natasha had also placed a new rule that stated that Peter can no longer dimension hop,which in his case was something he did not want to again and she had also made him come straight home at eight in the afternoon after what had happened with Venom almost eating him. He wanted to forget about it and just focus on what to do as a hero. Peter had just walked out of school with Ned,Mary jane,Harry,and Michelle as they had planned to go to Mary jane's house and study for an upcoming science test. Ned was speaking to the group about the incident with venom."It was so cool. Two spider men fighting off these two strange creatures with the avengers it was so cool". Michelle looked at him a bit irritated before speaking."Apart from when Spider man almost had his head bitten off". Ned just shrugged at this as he forgot about that detail. Once the group had made it to Mary jane's house they had noticed a teenage girl around their age standing in front of Peter's old home.

Harry looked at the girl confused before speaking to the group."Who's that and why is she in front of pete's old home?". Mary jane then responded to him."Don't know. Maybe she's lost?". The girl then noticed them and walked up to them. She had long light brown hair and hazel eyes. She walked up to them and spoke."Excuse me,but i'm looking for a Peter Parker Romanoff". Peter looked at her before raising his hand up and spoke."That's me". The girl had a nervous smile on her face as she spoke to him."I'm Jessica Drew. Your sister". The group looked at her shocked as they just yelled."HIS WHAT!!!??". After a while they had entered Mary jane's house,where Jessica had explained to them how she was Peter's sister. Peter looked at his sister and spoke."So let me get this straight. You're my half sister from the same father". Jessica nodded at this before speaking."Yup. Before your parents were officially married,they had an argument and your dad,i mean our dad met my mom and they got a little too friendly to say at least. And then your parents got back together once they found out that your mom was pregnant with you. And dad never really knew that my mom was pregnant with me". Peter looked at his half sister before he spoke to her."So how did you find out about me?". The group looked over to the siblings as Jessica started to speak."I got a phone call from a guy called Eddie brock saying that he had something that belonged to dad and that he would like for me to come and see it and also meet my brother,but i couldn't at the time because i was sick". Peter and Jessica had then left the house as they said goodbye to the group in order to talk about their lives.

Peter and Jessica had sat in the park on a bench as the two talked about how they were raised. Peter had of course did not mentioned the part about being Spider man. He had mostly told her about his life with Natasha and how he was working for Tony under a fake internship as a cover whenever he needs to suit up and go on patrol. Jessica had also told Peter that her mom was a scientist and that she used to live in wisconsin,but moved to new york last year. The two were talking when Natasha had came up to them.Peter had texted her earlier to tell her what had happened and overall she looked happy. Peter saw his mother and spoke."Hey mom this is my half sister Jessica Drew. Jessica this is my mother Nat...."He was quickly cut off by Jessica who spoke with excitement"Natasha Romanoff. The Black Widow". Peter had looked at his sister confused,not many people knew that his mother was the black widow. Natasha smiled at her and spoke."Yes.It's nice to meet my baby boy's sister. How did you know that i was the black widow?". Jessica looked excited by this as she answered Natasha's question."I'm a huge fan of yours. You were great in the battle of new york. I still can't believe that my half brother was adopted by some as cool as you". Peter gave his sister a chuckle as he felt his spider sense go off. He then saw a car flying towards them and he quickly grabbed Jessica and Natasha as they hit the ground as the car dodged them. The three looked up and saw a man who appeared to look like a jackal who screamed at the people running for their lives."Fear the Jackal! I am here to avenge the death of that girl spider man had failed to save by killing him!". Peter quickly got up as Natasha grabbed Jessica and got her to safety while Peter quickly ran into a alleyway and changed into his suit to fight.

Peter quickly punched Jackal as he grinned to himself."Okay dude let's get this straight. I did fail to save that girl,but would killing me really bring her back. I think it's time for you to go to the looney bin". The jackal sneered at him as he charged at Peter. Peter quickly shot out a tazer web and shocked Jackal straight in the chest. Jackal sneered at this as he tore the web with his claws and had struck Peter. Peter felt the claws scrape across his chest as a bit of blood came out. Jackal smiled at this as he kept on attacking Peter. Peter had gotten annoyed as he quickly changed to a spinner web combination. He quickly wrapped the Jackal in webs as he proceeded to kick him. The Jackal then broke out of the webs with ease as he proceeded to throw down a smoke bomb. He just laughed as he started to escape."We'll meet again Spider man and next time i will not be alone!". As the smoke cleared Peter no longer saw the Jackal standing there as a crowd gathered around him. Peter quickly said goodbye to the group of people as he swung away to change back into civilian clothes. Once back in his normal clothes Peter walked over to a worried Natasha and Jessica as jessica became worried after she did not see her brother."Where were you?". Jessica had a worried look on her face as she said this to Peter. Peter quickly thought up an excuses as he spoke to his sister."Spider-Man saved me and he put on the other side of the park to keep me safe". Natasha gave her son a look that read ''really''. Peter then saw his sister's face as she spoke to him once more."Just be careful next time. I don't want to lose my only brother". Peter smiled at this as he patted her on the back."You won't. I promise sis". Jessica smiled at her brother as Natasha had a so cute look on her face as she stared at the two half siblings.

Later in the afternoon the three had said goodbye as Peter and Natasha headed back to the compound as Jessica walked to her apartment. Peter looked at his mother as he proceed to speak to her."Did you know that had a sister?". Natasha looked at her son and spoke gently."Nope,not until today. Most records on your father are still missing from shields database and i guess the existence of Jessica was one of them". Peter nodded at his mother as he started to wonder if he has any other secret siblings and what else his birth father was hiding from him. Meanwhile Jessica entered her apartment as her mother was in the kitchen."Hey mom what's for dinner?". Jessica's mother spoke as she had seen her daughter walk in."Mash potatoes and roasted chicken. So how was it meeting your half brother,jess?". Jessica shrugged at her mother and spoke."It was good,but when can i tell about you know my powers? I already know that he's spider man". She then shot out a web from her fingertips as she pulled a can of soda towards her. Her mother looked at her and spoke as she placed a plate of food in front of her."Honey,you know director Fury said to not tell him until the time is right". Jessica nodded at her mother as she began to eat her dinner thinking to herself that she finally found her brother and that it sucked that she could not tell him that they were the same. Both with spider powers.

Yup Jessica has spider powers and the origins of how she had gotten her powers will be explained in a later chapter. The idea to also to have her be Peter's sister came from one of my friends who made their own spider verse story where peter and jessica were siblings. Anyway next time on son of black widow.
