Chapter 12:Back in Black

The return of Spider man had made everyone happy,except Jameson. Peter was currently with Jameson discussing how much he should be paid for his pictures. The elder man looked at the teen and spoke as he took a cigarette out of his mouth."I'll pay you a hundred for these photos, of the wall crawling menace. Take it or leave it!". Peter looked at Jameson and took the money. He did not have time to argue with him as he had somewhere to go. He passed by Jameson assistant Betty and quickly said bye to her as he went into the elevator. He rushed out the building and ran towards the starbucks. Their he saw a muscular man with short blonde hair and blue eyes and a goatee. The man saw Peter and smiled."Hey you must be Peter. I'm Eddie Brock Jr. Nice to meet you". Peter looked at Eddie and then shook his hand."Nice to meet you two man,I'm Peter Parker Romanoff". The two then entered the coffee shop and bought two cups of coffee as the two sat down on a park bench and talked.

Peter had learned that Eddie was currently going to empire state and that his parents died in the same plane crash that had killed his birth family. The two were starting to get up as Eddie spoke to the teen."So you ready to see what our dad's worked on?". Peter nodded at this as the two headed of to Reed Richards science center. Once the two entered the building Peter looked around in amazement."I can't wait for college". Eddie smiled at this as he headed over to a metal door number 5.9 and typed in a pincode that made the door open. The two walked in,but unkown be known to them,they were being followed. The two walked over to metal locker labeled with Eddie's name on it. Eddie opened the locker and took out a beaker containing a blackish substance within it. Peter looked at it with amazement before speaking to Eddie."What is it?". Eddie smiled at this and then answered Peter's question."This is the symbiote. Our dads made it in order to cure cancer". Peter was about to speak when he heard a female voice speak."It's also worth a ton of money. Now the two of you be good little boys and hand it over to the Black Cat". The two looked up to see a woman wearing a black jumpsuit with white fur on the collar,she had white hair and wore a mask that concealed her eyes but not her mouth.

The woman known as Black cat then kicked Eddie square in the chest and took the becker and ran off. Peter helped Eddie up and looked at him."Eddie call the cops, i'll try to stop her". Eddie nodded at this as Peter ran off and quickly started to Suit up once out of Eddie's line of sight. He pulled his mask down and shot out a web as he followed Black Cat. Cat had seen him and quickly pounced at him with her claws out. Peter dodged the attack but felt the claws make contact across his arm and chest. He quickly shot a web at the becker,but cat quickly clawed it. Peter then went in to grab the becker as Cat struggled to hold onto it.  During the struggle the becker had broke spilling the the substance. Black cat got anger by this and punched Peter causing one of his lenses to break. She then ran off as Peter tried to gather the symbiote,but noticed that it was missing. He changed back into his normal clothes and had the spider drone take the damaged suit and webshooters to Tony so he can fix it. Unknown to Peter was that the symbiote had attacthed itself to him. Peter quickly made his way back to Eddie and saw the building surrounded by the police. He then saw Eddie and walked up to him. He then explained what happened to Eddie and how Spider man tried to stop Black cat but destroyed the symbiote. Eddie got an angry look on his face and quickly told Peter to go home. Peter listened to him and started to walk home. As he was walking Peter felt his head start to hurt and he stumbled into an alleyway as the symbiote was consuming Peter's body. Peter quickly blacked out as he felt a rush of power in his body.

Once Peter had opened his eyes he noticed that he was hanging upside down from web on a stone gargoyle. He quickly panicked and spoke."Okay. What the hell! How..How did i get here?". He then heard a woman speak in an interested tone."Why hello handsome. I see you changed your costume just to see me again". Peter looked up to see Black Cat standing their smiling at him. Peter got ready to fight but stopped when he saw his reflection. He was wearing a black suit that resembled his own.

Peter looked at himself confused before speaking."Where did this come from? Wait, the symbiote. I thought it was destroyed in the fight. Guess not and now it's on me". Black cat then tied a rope as she hung upside down face to face with Peter."You know" she got closer to the teen"If you wanted it for yourself, you could have just said so. I wouldn't mind having a partner like you". Peter was shocked by and quickly jumped off to a rooftop nearby and to his surprise shot out a web without even having his webshooters on. He looked at his hands surprised and then he heard a alarm go off. He looked down at the street to see three men running out of the bank with bags filled with money. Peter quickly jumped from the rooftop and swung from a web. He then kicked one of the men while swinging from the web. One of the men looked at Peter confused and spoke in a fearful tone."Spider-Man. What with the new look?". Peter smiled at this and spoke."My suit is currently in the shop,also i thought i try something new". Peter then shot out two webs that attached themselves to the bank robbers. He then then pulled the webs hard causing both men's heads to slam together.

Peter then proceed to web the robbers as the police came. He then shot out a web and swung away as the police arrested the men. Peter landed on the rooftop where Black cat was waiting for him. Peter quickly got into a fighting stance and then spoke."Okay cat lady your turn to go to jail". Black cat smiled at this as she walked up to the teen and patted him on the shoulder."Come on. You know you want to have some fun. And jail is no place for a woman like me. So goodbye spider". She then pulled out a smoke pellet and slammed it to the ground causing smoke to come from it. Peter coughed as the smoke cleared up and saw that Black cat had ran off. He stood there and then felt his phone buzz. He took it out and saw a text from his mother that read"Where are you?". He quickly placed his phone back into his pocket and shot out a web as he swung back to the compound.

Natasha,Steve,and Tony stood in the kitchen as they were looking at the damaged spider man suit. The three adults then heard the door open as they saw Peter walk in with a black spider man suit. The three looked at him confused by his new suit and Natasha then spoke to her son."Hey kiddo, where did you get the suit?". Peter looked at his mother with a smile on his face as he answered her question."It's what my birth father was working on before he died". He then explained to the the three adults the full story of how he had acquired the suit and how his original one was damaged. Tony looked at Peter before grabbing his arm and taking a sample of the suit and placing it into a petri dish. To everyone's surprise the suit had regenerated in the place that Tony had taken the sample. Tony looked at his pupil and spoke."Kid. I'm going to run some test on this suit to see what it really is. I'll also fix your suit". Peter nodded at his mentor before saying goodnight to everyone and heading to his room. Steve looked at Tony who had a worried look on his face."You don't think that the suit is safe. Do you?". Tony nodded and answered the question."Can't tell for now,but whatever it is.It's like nothing we ever seen before". Natasha looked at Tony worried about her son's safety and then spoke to the billionaire."Tony, please run those tests. The sooner we found out what that thing is,the sooner we can get it off of my son". Tony looked at Natasha and nodded. Unknown to them was that the sample that Tony had taken was moving inside the petri dish as if it was looking for the rest of the suit.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Black cat will appear in later chapters to serve as a rival to Peter in order for him to catch her and put her in jail. Anyway,next time on son of black widow. Peter's personality starts to change greatly after he had gained his new suit. He even starts to black out more when wearing the suit.
